  1. Yeah it would take a heck of a lot for sure. Maybe it would have to be a combo of all 3 of those. Heisman, nearly all time statistical leader in most passing categories/touchdowns, and a national title?
  2. Yes, I think there is a clear difference between telling the staff your intentions vs telling 995ers your intentions. If he told the staff he was going to be at Tennessee, similar to Finley telling staff he was going to ND, that is fine IMO.
  3. Did he lie to staff or lie to 995ers....that is the real question.
  4. Sometimes a softer thrown ball is harder to catch than a ball with zip.
  5. How come the line judge on the bottom of the screen decided spot when he couldn't see ball location at all similar to the screenshot that is being posted? Why didn't the top of the frame official decide the spot who came in at what appeared to be the correct spot?
  6. I know you're retarded but being the QB of the wishbone is more than just handing or pitching off. The entire fucking offense is predicated on your decision making.
  7. We all questions X's ability to track but after watching the past two years, I think it was some of the throws he had to him. It was apparent this year we had similar tracking issues but more or less they were just bad throws.
  8. Bobby Texas hosted Ohio State defensive lineman Hero Kanu for an official visit this weekend. Kanu is expected to visit Florida later today. Given the late entry of Kanu to the portal, he has a narrow timeline remaining to make a decision. The last day to enroll in classes for the spring semester at Texas is Wednesday of this week, although there can be some exceptions. ** Some have mentioned the possibility of Texas recruiting Notre Dame starting center Pat Coogan out of the portal. But that does not appear to be happening, at least not at this juncture. Coogan has been talking to Michigan, Illinois and South Carolina among others.
  9. Is Kanu a junior or a RS Soph? this past season?
  10. Gerry Hamilton Wide receiver recruiting in focus: Big week on the road for Chris Jackson The Texas Longhorns coaching staff will be on the road to close out January and prior to the dead period, which begins February 3. Wide receivers coach Chris Jackson may have the biggest week on the road of the entire staff heading east all week. Jackson will be at Destrehan (La.) High Monday to see 4-star+ Jabari Mack, fresh off a junior day visit with his family. Jackson is scheduled to head east after the stop at Destrehan High the remainder of the week. OnTexasFootball takes a look at the known stops... Douglas County High in Douglasville, Ga. to see 4-star++ and Texas A&M pledge Aaron Gregory. Hattiesburg High in Mississippi to see 5-star Tristen Keys. The Bolles School in Jacksonville, Fla. to see 4-star++ speedster Naeem Burroughs. 11. I think Terry will be used in pass rush scenarios and situationally at least early on. He may come on late but trusting a true freshmen DT that might be 300 lbs by fall camp is a fools errand.
  12. Yeah Pecan Lodge hasn't been good in at least 3-4 years.
  13. Out in Boerne Hambys is pretty decent smashers. They have a pinball arcade inside as well. The people who on Cibolo Creek Brewery opened it. Also Cibolo Creek Brewery has really good burgers!
  14. Only way I see Vince dropping out of top spot is a Heisman winning national champion QB or a QB that is similar to Colt in stats and wins a title.
  15. If you bring in old guys Colt falls from 2 to 3. Quinn falls from 3 to 5 or 6
  16. Vince and Colt are top 2 in our era. The fact you say Colt isn’t second is laughable.
  17. It’s not even hyperbole. Objectively the worst teams are better than 2/3 of Venables teams, all of Riley’s teams are better than Venables OU teams. OU is in the shittiest phase since Blake. That’s all objective. Did I say Sam Ehlinger? No way is Quinn a better QB than Vince, Street, Colt, or Layne. So at best he’s 5th or 6th. I’d argue Duke Carlisle for 5th because he actually won a title.
  18. I’d say 23 Bama and Arizona St this year are his signature wins. Both are rather meaningless now though. Arizona State is the first game you can say without a doubt we win because he did something.
  19. He’s not top 4 at all. At best he’s 5 or 6. OU hasn’t been this bad since John Blake. stoops and Riley’s worst teams are better than these Venables teams.
