  1. Yep. I cannot think of any movement popular anywhere in the world that is more un-American than the Republican Party.
  2. Fun fact: Iran's parliament is the oldest democratically elected governing body between Turkey and Vietnam.
  3. Maybe "The Biggest Lie"...? Because, yeah, it's not like there's just one of them. I sometimes get the impression the reason he babbles so much is he's afraid if he stops speaking too soon, he runs the risk of having said something true.
  4. The conservative fixation with Israel is one of the most pathetic examples of warped psychology anywhere. The whole "chosen people" bit writ large. The self-same people who spew vile antisemitic venom on U.S. soil bend over backwards when Bibi comes asking for munitions, all because of -- what? Not even any specific biblical injunction, just the general theme of one. If Jesus had been a Zoroastrian instead of a Jew, we'd be arming Iran, with every bit as much posturing as we currently use in re: Israel.
  5. There's that time Thaddeus Stevens did a line of coke off the speaker's dais and then mooned the gallery. That never even went to the Ethics Committee.
  6. That was from 2009. This is 2021. Checkmate, libtard.
  7. "Welcome to Mississippi. No interviews, please."
  8. He really needs to just choke on a ham sandwich, preferably whilst on the toilet, already. Nothing in his life will become Donald J. Trump like the leaving of it.
  9. I refuse to go back to the previous page to find out what the context of this statement is. For the 21st century, this statement stands on its own.
  10. Why am I never surprised to see the username after I see something and go, "My God, that's stupid."
  11. Loved touring the Biltmore. Appomattox is underrated, I think. And there's several pirate-themed museums all up and down the Atlantic coast, and I want to visit each and every one of them. Probably my favorite so far has been in Beaufort, NC, but there's a ton of smallish but good ones.
  12. Fun fact: squirrels are brutal murderers. A ridiculously high percentage of squirrel deaths are attributable to squirrel on squirrel violence.
  13. Oh, so it's illegal to assist a disabled family member voting? Typical liberal oppression of the righteous, man. So totally unfair.
  14. If he were halfway as cool as Pancho, I wouldn't be having nearly as much fun watching him twist.
  15. Why some of y'all are addicted to gloom mystifies me. Justice, of course, would be his head on a pike on the national mall, and that ain't happening. But he's going to jail for some of this stuff; he isn't the first, and won't be the last. He's not as clever as Dan Rostenkowski, though, so I just don't get why y'all think he'll walk. Smarter crooks than Gaetz have been taken down plenty of times, with less evidence and fewer enemies.
  16. North Carolina Jelly Donut -- the eponymous jelly filled are good, but the plain glazed steal the show. I have never encountered a bigger, fluffier donut anywhere. Unbelievable.
  17. Not at all. Bush Sr. was personally responsible in the 70s for helping Sadaam complete his coup, but other than that, he was merely wrong about most things -- no different than most other politicians. Bush Jr. delegated too much to Cheney, whom I do despise (along with anyone else who champions torture), but he was a decent man who happened to be a bumbler. Both were bad, but not even in the neighborhood of Trump.
  18. Put another way, don't let the merely "bad" blind you to the "mind-numbingly horrific."
  19. The reason the punishment for mutiny is death is because the option of rising up against the democratically elected government must NEVER be on the table for those in uniform. Line this motherfucker up against the wall wearing a t-shirt with the word "TRAITOR" emblazoned on it, and bury him in a pile of dog crap.
  20. No, but you can jimmy it into the radiator just fine.
