  1. Change my mind, Lanning + Raymond as the remaining hires would be the best assistant coaching staff in the country
  2. Did they ever disclose the off the field event that happened this summer/season that caused Herman to lose all remaining support in the admin? Remember them teasing that late last year.
  3. Good for him. Worked with Lovo for a few years; he's a great guy and, by my evaluation, great at his job.
  4. Ewers has probably been focused this week on Saturday's game rather than recruiting. Looking forward to things heating up next week.
  5. Banks was "possible but unlikely" up until five hours ago. I'm still holding out hope.
  6. Could go without the Oxford comma but other that that, excellent job everyone
  7. Dude coached at Washington and USC and then as OC at Bama. He knows which backs he needs to scratch to succeed at upper-tier P5 programs.
  8. I continue to hold out hope that Raymond is still in play for the CB slot
  9. Lol what? Pruitt would be the best possible hire from a coaching standpoint, I don't see him getting sanctioned hard enough to change that.
  10. I'm not going to act like I know a whole lot about tOSU's internal workings but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Day is the de facto QB coach. Therefore I would assume Ewers committed to Day moreso than to Dennis, but you're right in that it might give him a convenient excuse.
  11. Much better chance of Wheaton decommitting if Banks was his position coach or something like that. Don't think there's any real reason to believe he and Banks were especially close (aside from Banks apparently being his main contact with the Bama coaching staff).
  12. Jeff Banks is objectively not a terrible recruiter. Not to imply that anyone has accused aggy of having critical thinking skills.
  13. I know right? Dude looks like he's putting in eighty hour work weeks filing 1040s.
  14. He had one year without any in-person spring practices. Retaining him isn't a slam dunk but if Sark thinks he's up for the task I see no reason to not believe him.
  15. Yeah, but how much would that salary leave for his bagman budget?
  16. Somebody call the yellow rose to see if they're hiring. I think times are tough at the Yellow Rose, heard their biggest patron just lost his job
  17. Transferring to Rutgers per 247 https://247sports.com/college/rutgers/Article/Patrice-Rene-commits-to-Rutgers-as-grad-transfer-159237776/
