  1. Even with Murphy's question marks, still not sure I wouldn't take him over Klub straight up. When you consider that taking him likely still allows us to court Ewers (at least according to IT) then accepting a commitment from Murphy seems like a pretty low-floor endeavor, no?
  2. Not sure that's saying much, can't imagine Ewers is a huge fan of Klubnik (or anyone at Westlake)
  3. Recruiting rankings are entirely based on projections. With the proper development (hello Sark) Murphy has a very high ceiling.
  4. Biggins and Huffman are the two West Coast analysts, meaning they aren't tied to a specific team (like Loy and Roach, for example). If Biggins/Huffman start reporting the same then it will be for sure happening.
  5. As a passive Chargers fan, the name Marlon McCree still makes me twitch. RIP Marty
  6. I've always liked their stuff. Great presence on Twitter as well. Hope they've got something in the pipeline with Texas, always hoped they'd get a licensing deal.
  7. How many times has she sworn to cancel her 247 sub only to start posting again a few days later? I think three or four?
  8. One of the mods mentioned in the comments that they think Jimbo will take a second QB to hedge against the possibility of Weigman bailing for the MLB draft
  9. Seems like Saban is the reason they're there, so I doubt they're too torn up about it
  10. Decent pickup for aggy https://247sports.com/player/jahmir-johnson-81692/
  11. Hey, drag him for his 2020 season if you want. I'll admit he was underwhelming but not terrible - but I also don't feel strongly enough about that to defend Sterns further. I'll mention again that my primary objection to your first post was that Sterns was injured for most of 2019 - which you agree with - and that he tried to redshirt. Glad we got it all sussed out.
  12. To make it worse, Nahlin probably spent an hour trying to think of a witty stock pun/reference before settling on that
  13. Are you planning on acknowledging at some point that he was injured for most of 2019, which was my main objection to your post? Besides, you're moving the goalposts. My response was that it's asinine to assume no one would have stopped him from redshirting when he wanted to, hence my comment that he wasn't playing that badly.
  14. It was widely reported that he wanted to redshirt because of injuries in 2019 but Herman pressured him not to. I realize the average user of this board hates Sterns for both football and non-football reasons but acting like he was a net negative on the field overall is a laughable level of revisionist history.
  15. Pretty much known at this point, but Hamilton thinks we have closure on the QB room (i.e. Klub or Ewers) by the end of next month
  16. This was an unusually good article by our friend Chip if you ask me
  17. Graham and Ehlinger were good takes as well. 2017 class is a bit underrated it seems - for a transition class the production was pretty good
  18. Because we had just won the Sugar Bowl, our average MOL was about a touchdown and because Herman hadn't yet used his "get out of jail free" card of turning over the entire assistant coaching staff. Not rationalizing the (non-)decision, just providing context. Also had to refresh my memory and had to recall how the 2019 Baylor game was probably the most pathetic showing for this team during the Herman era. Just a disgusting afternoon of football.
  19. This might have broken my brain. Is this somehow bait or posted ironically? Is no one in their social media department self-aware in the slightest?
