The wife and I binged a few through the holidays. In no particular order, here we go.
Tsunami Race Against Time. Less than 10 episodes IIRC, but very well done. Might get "dusty" at times with some of the personal stories that are told. There were 3 stories that really standout for mey. They were the military dude who finds his GF, the Dr and his wife, and a man named CiCi. All were jam up. Well worth watching.
Tinder Swindler. You just can't make this shit up. Sorta reminded me of Catch Me If You Can at times. It's a good one.
Love has Won, The Cult of Mother God. Yikes. Disturbing. Weird, but compelling. We thought it to be a decent watch.
Lover Stalker Killer. Another you can't make this shit up. Internet romance gone Deep South in a handbasket, with a surprising turn in the evidence hunt. Good one.
The Man With a 1000 Kids. At some point in this one you'll ask yourself "WTF?!" or "Why?". Bizarre enough as is on the surface, but there is point in the story when it really gets disturbing. Yuck, isn't a gross enough word. Good one.
The Breakthrough. Swedish murder and the time it took to get the evidence. This one also has a surprise turn in the evidence search. Might be a little redundant or boring here and there, but worth the watch.
Sweet Bobby. Catfishing scheme again. Kinda meh.. but if you are locked in during the coldpocalypse it is something to do.
Crime of the Century. A look into Big Pharma and how they manipulated America. Good one.
The Imposter. Desperate hope blinds a Texas family into believing someone else is their son. How this happened is beyond me. Decent, but you'll thinking "How did this happen?"
McMillions. Dive into how the McDonald's Monopoly game was rigged. This guy was almost the smartest in the room. Worth it.
Made You Look. Fake art in a New York gallery. Was she or wasn't she involved? Pretty good, but watch some of the above first.
Voyeur. Dude runs a motel for years and spies on those staying there. Don't get to excited, the previews hyped it. However, we didn't think it lived up to the hype. Meh....
Prophet's Prey. Startling look into the LDS and their lifestyle. Eyebrow raising and surprising. Better the average watch.
Into the Fire. A woman goes on a quest to find her daughter given up for adoption. Wear your sealbelt left turn ahead. Pretty decent to watch.
Get a bowl of popcorn, hot chocolate, a blanket and your sweetie and enjoy the weather the best you can.
