Think Hunger Games and Alone had a kid. Hunger Gamesesque in the sense of there are 80 cameras scattered around in the woods for TV viewing pleasure. The contestants support team also has access to these cameras. The support team can hear the contestants but cannot reply back. Alone in the sense of players are by themselves without jack crap. The support team can get supplies for the member in the field through random draws and competitions at the HQ. Support team is made up of 2 members and can extract the field member. IIRC, the field member cannot withdraw themselves. Gameplay is in British Columbia.
Prepare yourself for the typical clueless contestants and support staff. Interesting dynamics with support staff while they are all together watching and listening to the field members complain, cuss, and suffer.
Episodes are on FOX on Monday and Hulu on Tuesday. There are 2 episodes on Hulu for your viewing pleasure. I'll give it a couple more chances before I decide to pull the plug on it or not.
