  1. Sorry for your family's loss. I guess one day I'll be posting a similar story. But until then we still have plenty of adventures and memories to make. Hang in there, Brisket.
  2. I was thinking he might have been in class.
  3. and the knowledge on how to discharge the one to be replaced.
  4. Orleans Seafood off I-10 in Katy had 'em last week.
  5. Lotsa thunder, but no rain in Hardin Co. All show and no go, so far.
  6. Aggy Aplin is pretty much a jerk. Don't forget these guys.
  7. 3 of the 4 classes finished within 2 seconds of each other, can't ask for more than that. Both Corvette teams had penalties overnight and might have been the difference. Although, their speed was nonexistent. Strategy and reliability were key to the 2nd place finish. Good race. Race coverage...meh.
  8. LMP2 is most likely sewn up with a 45+ lead at this point. The other classes are still wide open.
  9. Couple of race thoughts. Race director should have issued a stop and hold for the BMW 1. It is obvious he would have benefitted from the BMW 48's blocking on Milner. On the sly, I would have got word to Milner do what you want with the 48. Winward Racing 57 car deserves some of grit/resolve award for overcoming early race problems and to come back and get in the hunt. Coolness award to the landscaping crew for the Harley J. Earl image in the infield grass bordering the track. BTW, that is supposedly a prototype Firebird concept from Earl. The Chicane entrance will need more definition before next year's race to stop the "grey" area of did or didn't the driver get an advantage. Food for thought, I hope I explain this clearly. Under the current format the only way any other class than GTP can win the overall is if all the GTP cars crash out. So, what would happen if? Let's say this year the overall winner wins by 1 hour. GTD Pro second by 15 min, LMP2 third by 30, and GTD last by 45 minutes. So, next year GTD starts at 2:00, at 2:15 LMP2 cars take the track, at 2:30 GTD Pro joins the fight, and finally the GTP cars come on at 2:45. By staggering the start times all class "should/could" finish at near the same time. Thus, giving the little guys, a chance at the overall win. One drawback of course is the matter of time. The actual faster car will be on the track for less overall time. I used an hour simply because it made the explanation easier, but I'm sure it would never be an exact hour. And the start times would be much closer in reality. Roast my idea or recommend me for some honor. Preferably one with money involved.
  10. Yep. Too bad Milner lost his composure and beat the car up. However, it was funny when he went the 48 and flipped him off. Corvette had finally managed to get to the top and have a chance at a win.
  11. Under yellow for track clean up after Colton Herta LMP2 crash. Disappointing effort so far for Chevrolet in GTD Pro, Ford and Mercedes have been dominant.
  12. Big crash multiple cars on the restart. Tune in for the replays.
  13. Corvette 4 got a whiff of the lead briefly. Nighttime could be the right for the Chevrolets or the strategy might be coming in. FYI. Didn't get all the details, but Instacart is offering some kind of free trial.
  14. 93 Acura and one time overall leader in the garage with a suspension failure. Time for a restart.
  15. username checks out....just like mom.
  16. I'll admit I am currently preoccupied with the Rolex 24 and guilty of speed (non)reading!
  17. ^^ agreed, time for a restart now. Houston based Winward Racing in the 57 AMG Benz team back on the track.
  18. Here's is a scoring page. It can be customized to some degree to follow a class or two, or.... I usually set my page to keep up the GTP and GTD Pro. Scoring | IMSA
  19. Elsa is my jam, so I'm cool with you bangin' Anna.
