Jeanty can still get it, but he will have to finish strong and have some pizzazz. I hate blou and really do not like Oregon. So, I guess I unconsciously I show bias to Dillon. Most of us here remember the NYD Cotton Bowl beat down we took from Miami. However, we don't play 'em every year, it was an anomaly, and I'm over it. Charles Woodson won it as a 2-way player back when and then. Now there is another guy who plays both sides of the ball on a team who receives a ton of attention because of its coach. Is Travis that good? He is certainly a standout on a team that is mediocre (IMO). Is this an opportunity for the voters to give it to another 2-way guy because he is truly outstanding or more of a novelty? Has anyone even looked at these guys?
IMO, perhaps the original concept/idea of the Heisman, the award was not about the guy who scores the most points, but the guy who is most valuable to his team. Check that list ( top 5 in completion yardage, rushing, receiving and TDs) above, anyone missing? Where is Dillon and Hunter?
