Martinez played arguably his best game of his career last weekend..Deuce Vaughn is well Deuce Vaughn... TCU doesn't have that. OU -6 is "FREE" money this week. Can't let TCUs wins against bad Colorado and SMU teams cloud the judgement. I don't see how TCU keeps this one close.

I just started reading this thread, and the game is just beginning the 4th quarter, but I'll go ahead and say it; This didn't age very well.

  2. Already mentioned, but Master and Commander is an excellent movie.  I'd also suggest Barbarossa with Willie Nelson and Gary Busey; High Plains Drifter and Hang 'Em High.  And don't forget Enter the Dragon.

Need recs on a .22LR for the soon to be 10 year old boy. Have looked at the Ruger 10/22 and Savage FV and while both look great, mostly plastic stocks. Is there anything else maybe in the $5-800 range that could be more heirloom-y? It’s his first gun so would like for It to be special - if something nice would engrave it too.

10/22s come in a variety of configurations, including with wooden stocks, and it's such a popular weapon, the aftermarket is huge so you can customize it to your liking.  Another option to consider; I don't know what gun shows in Texas are like, but here in Virginia there are a large number of sellers offering classics.  Very easy to pick up a nice Winchester model 62 slide action for about $700-800.  I have one that I inherited from my dad, and they are great little shooters.  And almost forgot, take a look at Henry Repeating Arms.  They offer a huge selection of American made, lever action .22 LRs, and even a slide action.  They make a really quality product.

He got a boner off that RB pass for the TD after the on side.  That was weird for the home team announcer to be so giddy about it.

This was the exact moment where I had had all I could take.  Before, Galindo had never made caused much more than an eye roll with me, but he sounded like he about to jizz his pants after that TD, I could no longer take it.  Muted the TV, and pulled up Craig Way on the Longhorn Radio Network website...much more enjoyable experience.

  5. Meanwhile, on Fox's Big Noon Kickoff in Lincoln, NE, between the Husker and Sooner fans, there are just as many chuckleheads doing the Horns down and waving "Texas Sucks"signs as there are supporting Nebraska or Oklahoma.  Rent free.
