  1. No, they were part of the mall cop brigade. The article quotes guardsmen's complaints about being deployed to wealthy and politically connected private ranches. It doesn't quite say that they were all Abbott donors. That said, a lot of companies and rich people will donate to both parties' candidates in an election, not to help one in particular win but rather to curry favor with whoever does.
  2. Please stop using the words "Huckabee" and any variation of "naked" in the same post. 🤢 Thanks in advance.
  3. I take exception to the misogyny accusation. We body shame men, too. You must have missed all the posts about dotard's rotundity.
  4. Maybe Garland knows Trump wrote himself a pocket pardon before he left office, and also knows that SCOTUS would add their seal of approval.
  5. Everyone in his district should be shamed to the point of the seppuku.
  6. That was after eating his smegma, I believe.
  7. Too long for a band name. Would be a sweet album title though.
  8. The GOP continues to run on nothing but gaslighting.
  9. First I'm hearing about this abomination. What happens at a "conservative think tank" these days - do they just dream up new ways to own the libs with culture war bullshit? Also, I wouldn't think there are a lot of people getting into UT who don't understand liberty.
  10. What Mickey wants, Mickey gets. Don't fuck with the Mickey. How nice of Rhonda. I'm sure Emma will forever cherish this memory of being used as a political pawn and Rhonda's meaningless proclamation.
  11. Awesome, toss it on the pile of serious crimes everyone knows Trump committed but which no prosecutor has the sack to charge.
  12. Haha, I'm the one clutching pearls? Your post would make a lot more sense if I actually posted anything approaching outrage, or even any emotion at all. I refuse to believe you don't know how the US and others have pursued regime change aside from elections and invasion. I already used my words to explain why it's a pretty big deal, in that very same post. Cheers.
  13. Witch hunt! Hoax! CIA! Whatabout that one time Sleepy Joe Brandon didn't make a call for 8 hours?
  14. I'm trying to decide whether it's more white trash if (a) "Jarrin" is pronounced how it's spelled, or (b) his name is pronounced Jaren and his illiterate okie parents fucked it up.
  15. Damn, that's a very fine line to walk, indeed. Some radical going off script makes the most sense, I think.
  16. I've always thought mixing up homophones like this is won of the most reliable indicators of dumbassedness.
  17. Assuming that the poisoning story is true, that's pretty mind blowing. I didn't know Abramovich was involved in the talks. Is he doing so without permission from the Kremlin, or what? And did those responsible think killing the Ukrainian envoys would keep another meeting from ever happening? If it was ordered by someone who could have simply called off the negotiations instead, i.e. Putin, then it's totally insane.
  18. Can we get some copypasta?
  19. 🙄 We usually haven't done it via invasion. Sorry but it's a pretty big deal especially when the subject of the comment is a paranoid, aggressive lunatic consumed by fear of being overthrown.
  20. In an interview near his home outside Dallas, the elder Cruz says that as a teenager, he fought alongside Fidel Castro's forces to overthrow Cuba's U.S.-backed dictator, Fulgencio Batista. He was caught by Batista's forces, he says, and jailed and beaten before being released. It was 1957, and Cruz decided to get out of Cuba by applying to the University of Texas. Upon being admitted, he adds, he got a four-year student visa at the U.S. Consulate in Havana. How Ted Cruz's Father Shaped His Views On Immigration : It's All Politics : NPR
  21. Because the US has an extensive history of trying to change regimes by means other than elections.
  22. Am I the only one who didn't know that our beloved UT is to blame for everyone being subjected to this waste of life? His dad immigrated on a student visa he received thanks to UT admitting him. What a momentous blunder.
  23. It's so unfair that that Gutfeld clown gets paid big bucks to sit around and be a dull idiot on national TV. I can't imagine that even the magats enjoy him.
