  1. I like this plan for the OL more than other positions. Do we think kids may be more open to "free agency" this year since they've had a year to process the new transfer rules? I hope so. The "our players suck" pitch should actually work better on transfers than recruits.
  2. Elite DL recruiting is always tricky. Everybody wants them and there aren't very many. Gotta fight the battle from all sides.
  3. No one is saying "sign 3-stars," but signing a shit load of 4-stars is fine if you have a good coaching staff. Gotta give the 5-stars proof of concept.
  4. The truth is somewhere in the middle. I wish we were recruiting like Georgia and OSU, but a Penn State or Notre Dame class isn't the end of the world. It just puts a lot more pressure on our evaluations and development which is very TBD.
  5. I agree with his assessment of said twitter person, but yes, I was referring to the Georgia MOD source. But honestly, there are positives for every school he's looking at, but the family has a history of going with a QB guru and it's worked out well for them.
  6. Sark going to win this one. Family understands the value of 3-4 years of development in college. Eli went to fucking Ole Miss for David Cutcliffe (and yes I understand the family connection.)
  7. Maybe create a new thread for every prediction from a media member so that we can have a lot of threads. And then definitely assume in your post that we actually saw the original prediction and cared about it at time or still care a week later. Then delete your post and rewrite the whole thing really aggressively.
  8. I actually believe this. It's called the "don't want to go home alone on a saturday night" strategy.
  9. He'll "quit" sooner than that when he realizes he doesn't always get more draft picks than other teams.
  10. It helps me filter which posters I know I can ignore.
  11. The biggest thing I’ve wanted from this staff (or any staff!) is noticeable in season improvement. Failure is often the best impetus for growth, if you have the right mindset. TCU redemption is right around the corner if you want it.
  12. I'm pretty sure we were mocking him for calling people poor, but i use food stamps to buy dildos, so what do I know.
  13. Just a reminder that Texas recruiting class floor is probably around #10 unless we fire a coach or take a really small class.
