  1. Has anyone seen any reporting on the portal success around the country? Like which programs have taken the most and how they are doing. Probably not worth looking at until the end of the season, but I imagine some teams have added a lot of wins.
  2. I propose "hey recruits, Sark schemed a WR open and got him the ball on the run for the first time in 20 years come to texas."
  3. If we get Evan Stewart to pair with Worthy, it's going to forgive some deficiencies in other areas. I always look at the two deep on paper and want some sort of balance, but the reality is that building one elite unit can also be the way to attack things.
  4. And they've got skin in the game.
  5. I'm just giving you a hard time because you were a little condescending back in September. All in fun!
  6. They'll sign some good guys but competition is fierce for those elite DLs. Hard to hold onto all of them when Miami, Georgia, Tennessee, etc are involved. Shenanigans!
  7. I always love your definitive takes.
  8. I don't know if this is the right thread, but does anyone know what time Luka and the Mavs tip off tonight?
  9. "So far." Also, I think the Weigman thing has been covered. Ewers hadn't decided to enroll early when A&M took Weigman's commitment. Also, we appear to be chasing the Devin Brown kids who looks pretty good.
  10. This is the one thing I can't square. I respect Chris Petersen's bullshit meter and eye for coaching talent. PK's track record is great, and I don't think the Big 12 offenses are that special anymore. It doesn't add up. https://www.seattletimes.com/sports/uw-husky-football/how-pete-kwiatkowski-uws-evil-genius-coordinator-has-built-the-huskies-into-the-nations-no-1-defense/
  11. The paths of glory lead but to the grave. Surly.
  12. Exactly. My point was not looking at the GOAT for data unless that's the only way this hire is considered a success.
  13. Glad this thread is going to turn into blowhard theater.
  14. Also, having leads to blow beats Herman and Strong's first seasons. Progress baby!
  15. Can we just never mention Saban again. No one is Saban. There are a lot of successful head coaches in college football. Can we look at their careers for data points?
  16. Whenever A&M claims to finish #4, it’s usually a lie.
  17. So he convinced Riley he was good enough to be your starting quarterback twice. His arm talent, late 2020 season surge, heisman chances, and projected draft status we’ve been hearing about for years but now it’s best he just leave? Cool. Just don’t expect us to believe all the hype next time.
  18. Imagine what Sark could do with a talent like that.
  19. And right on cue On3 national guys all predict (at this point) we get Arch. LOL
