  1. The point is that because he’s a Manning, he’ll always be under more scrutiny. But you’re on a roll this week so make whatever point you want despite what I wrote.
  2. I think the answer to the question is that Arch is royalty and will get the benefit of the doubt in every football situation for the rest of his life. Heavy is the head…
  3. I am Spartacus.
  4. I was thinking more... hey Sark, spend our money! Do less but get better results!
  5. If Sark wants to go to the NFL, why doesn't he just hire more qualified people to help take stuff of his plate at Texas. I think we've moved past the "Saban is the ideal" model and into something much more akin to the NFL. I mean Nick Sirianni won a Super Bowl - let's not pretend like the landscape is littered with Young Urban Meyers or Albert Einsteins. TL;DR - hire a new GM that knows ball and organizational tactics and can help with actual hiring, firing, NLI payroll, and evaluations.
  6. I think it's always better to have assholes as coaches because they're easier to fire when it's time. Also, college football is so fucking dirty and backwards. It's built on shady dealings that can get you in legal trouble in professional leagues.
  7. Very excited we've reached the point where A&M and Tech fans are emboldened to amplify every meaningless anecdote as proof of process. Does your research tell you we should buy a ping pong table or a foosball table to build unity this offseason? Sark coached top 4 playoff teams in consecutive year, so obviously everything he was doing was good process UNTIL this season.
  8. The savior head coach has never mattered less. Saban and Urban are relics of a bygone era. It’s a year to year proposition now, just like the NFL. If Joey Fucking McGuire has a top ten team… clearly there are 50 guys that can do the job.
  9. The new PTA movie is available to stream with a runtime of 2 hours 40 minutes. Might need a cinema cleanse.
  10. Jimbo is a problem.
  11. We’re going to suffocate them like your presence on this board.
  12. I think we're going to beat A&M by a couple of scores.
  13. Good. I have a crazy suspicion that we'll be just fine when the dust settles even if the ride is bumpy.
  14. 2 losses in the Big 12 is like 8 losses in the SEC, but maybe Cody Campbell can pay every sports fan in America $1000 to change their mind.
  15. And the thing that makes upsets hard to predict... is that they shouldn't happen... which is why they're upsets. So this is happening.
  16. Too much talk about everyone’s feelings this week. Texas by 3 scores.
  17. OU could play with 12 guys on defense, and we'd still beat them by 2 scores.
  18. Being on camera for 10 hours a week ain't easy... He uttered one of the greatest things I've ever heard this Monday on Coffee and Football. I think he said that against OU on Saturday, "this team's culture's back is against the wall." Chef's kiss.
  19. Gerry has pretty bad football opinions a lot of the time. We just gloss over them because he’s good at covering recruiting. If you listen to what he says each day, it’s just a coin flip if it has any relevance to what happens on game day.
  20. Yeah, I don't think big changes can happen at this point, but I do like that he was hanging out with Chip Kelly the past few years. Always liked the misdirection in the run game he seemed to employ. I feel like Arch moving around more can only help.
  21. Can you elaborate because I feel like this is the biggest issue? Who are the creative run schemers these days? I get that our guys are playing poorly, but I know some offenses would have them succeeding a lot more.
  22. My bad. I think I'm missing the larger context, but I'm too lazy to dig any further. Have a blessed evening.
  23. We're going to beat OU and Georgia but lose to Kentucky. And I'll be just as confused
