  1. I'll take it one step further. It's a bad sign. A horrible sign, and we can only infer that he'll never play a snap at the University of Texas.
  2. Seems like a good year to have a likable head coach and a hungry staff.
  3. Sark's Mater Dei connections already paying off!
  4. Did you know that he and Jackie Robinson attended the same high school? #pasadenafacts
  5. Question about "playing the game." Does it include throwing a little love at current players that don't have NBA futures?
  6. I'm worried Alabama is going to run all over us in the championship game if our players are too light.
  7. I enjoy the IT guys but they don't understand probabilities when it comes to coaching searches.
  8. Ok, this makes sense to me. I watch the NBA mostly, so college basketball is more just about the Longhorns winning games for me. If i had to cover the team in anyway, I would also want some variety in styles.
  9. I'm not referring to offense. He's down on the Beard hire. While it might not be one's first choice, he has been very successful.
  10. I'd rather him explain to me why Chris Beard's system seems to work than just plant his flag. One thing I've learned from reading Texas fansites and listening to Texas podcasts is that the guys that cover our teams are wrong most of the time. It's just usually because they're too optimistic.
  11. What good is insider info if it's no better than a coin flip?
  12. With the support Ivey has in the league, it sounds like he's going to be an NBA coach soon. Superstars almost get to pick their coaches these days. No way we could keep him.
  13. What's the acceptable number of cheeseburgers to eat for lunch in a week? 38, no family history of heart disease.
  14. My first thought would be that if Mac Jones gets taken before Justin Fields, that's a pretty big "recruiting" win.
  15. My problem isn't grammatical errors, it's that they don't communicate effectively because they're attempting to "write good." Some of their sentences have more mixed metaphors than a blind squirrel.
  16. That would have to be a dream job for someone like Stevens.
  17. If Brad does a good job at Texas, think of the historic NBA franchises that might want to hire him.
  18. Thanks Gerry. Not vague at all.
  19. Seems like $9.95ers always have ulterior motives. I would assume in this case, it's about access to which blue chip QB recruit we take. They have an in with the Texas kids but not so much with the SoCal kid.
  20. Texifornia is in the post break up, "I'm just going to work on my music this summer" phase.
  21. He did it so we'd talk about it. He can't be outdone by honest evaluations!
