  1. It's like he thinks we can't hire coaches that currently have jobs.
  2. I think you're overestimating how solidified coaching staffs are this time of year.
  3. My hope is that it's taking awhile because good assistants have options and you have to let them make a decision. That's my hope. There was a week where different $9.95ers floated Masshingham and Major Applewhite while one stated that Rhett Lashlee wouldn't leave SMU for Texas. He's at fucking Miami now. It turns out our guy was still coaching in the playoffs and we gave him $1.7 million.
  4. Well they also floated Courtney what's-his-nut-ingham from KSU and then we hired Yurcich. (which we all like) Maybe Herman and Ash are just terrible at foreplay?
  5. This wasn't his first NFL job offer.
  6. New coach goes to Norman, Austin, and Aimes next year. Hate to see it.
  7. This was inevitable and I love it.
  8. This is what I like to hear. Make sure you’re getting time and a half for working on a holiday.
  9. “On defense” was implied, but you knew that.
  10. Yeah, me too. Narduzzi seems like he knows what good looks like.
  11. This is going to take him down like Big Red Auto took down Stoops and Castiglione.
  12. Based on what Surly has been saying for the past year, I'm shocked that Zach Evans recruitment was frustrating and shady.
  13. That was Charlie's last game, right? I watched that with a big grin on my face.
  14. I really like that Georgia is the dirtiest team because I don't have strong feelings about them. If it was OU or A&M, it would drive me crazy.
  15. I think we're too in the college football bubble here. I get turning down the Jacksonville Jaguars, but franchises like the Giants and Cowboys are in a different stratosphere than Baylor.
  16. If it's true that he seriously entertained the Jets job last year, then he would take the Giants job. And he has more leverage this year to get what he wants from an organization.
  17. Ian writes about the nuts and bolts of football where his pedantry is a virtue. Once you get past that, he seems like the least fun person you could ever encounter in real life.
