  1. It takes some getting used to, but my industry is here, so I have to stick around.
  2. As a Texan that lives in California, I love the Texan that fears the existential threat that California poses. Sure I had to learn to put both pant legs on at the same time and the toilets flush in reverse, but other than that, it's just a bunch of people l-i-v-i-n.
  3. $300K is plenty to live in Los Angeles. Home prices are high, but it's massive so you'll be able to find a neighborhood that suits you.
  4. Some of you don't have the stomach for this. There are a lot of sports to follow where player acquisition is handled in an orderly and fair manner.
  5. I think their theory is that Powell rim running while Luka and KP pick and pop will be an elite offensive unit.
  6. I don't. Most kids won't make a lot of money on their name and likeness.
  7. You remind me of my cousin who seeks out fringe arguments to make it seem like his unoriginal and uncontroversial opinions have some insight.
  8. Whichever person is responsible for Bijan can stay.* * excluding Orlando, Meh, or Warehime
  9. Bijan is worth $515k, so Drayton can stay if he can sign him.
  10. I listened to that as well. Thoughts on Orlando not wanting to build out the support staff on defense like we did on offense? It seems indefensible. (sorry for that) If Herman and Beck can take input from Fedora and Coleman, WTF Todd?
  11. I don't know how to answer it either. I just get annoyed with the portion of the fanbase that runs around with a saber and insists on drawing a line in the sand after every loss. Weekly referendums are fucking exhausting.
  12. Him learning is the best bet because I think Saban is a complete outlier. It's like wanting Belichik as your coach. It's a great idea if he's available, but there is only one. And guess what, they don't changed jobs. It's really too early to lose faith in Herman, and I think it's a little silly and reactionary based on some of the positives so far. Dabo fired coordinators. Orgeron fired a coordinator. Riley fired a coordinator. The list goes on, and we see one year turnarounds all the time when new coordinators come in. Were they all idiots for not making the right hires initially? Did Orgeron and Riley waste a year of elite defenses and offenses, respectively, by failing to recognize deficient units on their team? I'll quit rambling now.
  13. I just want to go on record that I think the two things he's good at are the most important traits to having success in our league. That being said, he needs to show he can evaluate his staff and make some good hires. It shouldn't be hard with our resources. We'll see.
  14. I do wonder if we continue to have this issue once we keep the same coach for 4-5 seasons. I'm not defending Orlando's performance because last year wasn't great either. I'm just wondering if we're seeing a lot of volatility because of how coaching changes affect the roster.
  15. This is a very specific fear. I'd suggest worrying about the short term because we only get 11-13 games a year and no one knows what's going to happen. That's why watching sports is fun.
  16. This is where I am. I hope it's the former because I don't want to throw away another year of my football life.
