  1. There's a subreddit called /VoteDem that will have a live thread of all the important tweeters/tweets that will be posted here. I'll post it tomorrow.
  2. We've had 5 years of hysterical ledge talk, and two days before an election, it just vanishes. ...like Covid after the election.
  3. Cenk Uygur of Young Turks "fame" is the guy Charlie Kirk yelling at. It's his name, not a slur
  4. There’s a good amount of finance influencers/youtubers ( I fucking hate that I just typed that out) that say getting to 100k is harder and takes more effort than getting to the first million, and that’s what every person in their 20s should focus on—getting to 100k.
  5. Georgia women outvoting men by 485,039 Michigan women outvoting men by 273,429 North Carolina women outvoting men by 437,119 And in Pennsylvania, a 399,890 gap between registered Democrats to Republicans
  6. Maalik and Manny making some halftime headlines up 21-17 on Miami
  7. And see @UTPhil2006 for any mortgage refinancing or home buying questions. Make your home work for you in the new year.
  8. … financial moves to make in 2025. 401k limit increases $500 to 23,500. Trad and Roth IRAs contribution limit stay same but with income tweaks to Roth. HSA limit increase to 4300 single/8550 family https://www.kiplinger.com/taxes/401-k-and-ira-contribution-limit-changes#:~:text=The contribution limits for a,%247%2C000 (same as 2024).
  9. Guys, gals it’s already over. No reason to be in America. The normie’s may have won. Or not. Who cares. We have our Biden Dollars. Pattaya, Thailand.
  10. We are all voting. If it doesn’t come out for this stupid bitch Kamala, we’re all going to SE Asia, the guys who can somehow scrum like 500 bucks after 4 years, will be building our new home. With 6 wives. Not nagging us.
  11. I don’t want to present myself as a cloud expert. Just a Salesforce dude with data analysis skills and AWS knowledge not ready to pay for a cert….. in case you’re hiring. Are there recruiting level people with no cloud knowledge from your story? I see so many CloudOps and FinOps roles and it’s making me feel like my resume is going into a trash can cause I dont have certain words.
  12. A friend of mine I’ve known since I was 5 years old (now 35) befriended one of the Spindletop II descendants when he was a KA at Tech. Dude had mailbox money I couldn’t ever dream of. Great guy, met him in Key West. Never cheated on his gal and kids, met me at the bar before others flew in with no intro besides “look for the big dude”, but made sure all of us had a fun time in Key West clubs with a plastic sack of cash. Bonus EDIT: He skipped the wedding but made his wife go cause he was in Germany for Oktoberfest
  13. Do they think this is “hybrid” cloud architecture with less risks? How do people sell this?
  14. Not a cloud problem but a vent I’m wasting away in a Salesforce role where I’m mostly explaining healthcare ops errors to departments what product people got wrong and SF developers didn’t know about the end process. I should be a Salesforce business analyst and get paid more to explain to these people the intricacies, but I can’t do the test developments that always have wrong/incomplete parameters.
  15. Trump wants the absolute lowest prices for oil and doesn’t shy away. Everyone in Texas needs to know. There is a bad spot
  16. As much as you think the other thread isn’t CR, There is another thread you should post this in. Oil n Guess
  17. Well yea he’s not up for a vote. One of the things I always love to do is go from top to bottom on who cancels out who, raw numbers. So Harris county cancels the bottom 203, Harris and Dallas raw cancels out bottom 222 and on and on. It’s usually been top 7-8 cancel out the rest of the state. So knowing that, what do the numbers need to look like in the top 7-8 counties is a question I think naturally comes up. I only look at early voting and haven’t included Election Day numbers, I don’t know when the top 6 counties outvotes and went D.Should we find a predictor at top 5 counties or make it a list with counties over 200k? Things to consider Until there is a successful breakthrough I haven’t thought of good “data” questions to look for/ask for. I think there’s a lot of focus on top 15 counties cause that’s a round number/inclusive number etc. There’s discussion of the “Texas spine” that goes SA to Austin to Metroplex” and then we just add Houston (I don’t have the heart to acknowledge ElPaso since they choose not to participate).
  18. I had read some pretty bad things about the Chicago location not being up to specs recently on the Chicago Reddit. Can’t speak to other locations. I remember when I was coming out of school around 2011 Pepsi was a HUGE employer for all the supply chain guys in McCombs along with a couple O&G spots.
  19. Just read that AWS announced revenues were up 19% YOY, meanwhile 500+ employees wrote to CEO against the RTO plan. Tough sell unless they want to shed workers. "I think we could've been up 25%"
  20. Women voters are literally murdering men in the important swing states and PA's HUGE early vote bank by party (although information could be slightly dated due to changed changing political party) Some people started talking about models. First person to show any kind of math at all, bonus points if written in Python, will win 6 month subscription to get their own Google Data Analytics certification. As site admin I can make this happen.
  21. I'm trying to tell you TS is ass my dude
  22. I was mocked, then I posted a picture. I said subway had a renaissance, and none of you remembered peak ‘06 chicken and bacon ranch or ‘98 tuna.
  23. What states ask for relationship status? What states update this? Are they cross referencing marriage and divorce records?
