  1. Anytime that I needed to talk to my pool guy, that's where I would find him.
  2. Chili John's sucks, and is closed 6 months of the year...used to live 4 blocks away when I was newly wed.
  3. What's really mind bottling to me is who they vote for.....
  4. Nope. The price for the double 1/4 was the same as aggie08 above.
  5. I was 62 miles from the Spokane airport....Ritzville, which is by no means a wealthy burg.
  6. No shit....I went to a Mcdonald's in eastern Washington to buy my dog a 1/4 pound patty to reward him for his great day in the field and was flppred by the prices...filet of fish was more than $10, and a crispy chicken sandwich was more than $13. His patty was $4.75.
  7. Oh, yes.... Friends of my parents up and left Southern California and bought a huge corn farm there. 3 of the most depressing 'vacations' that we ever took. Still, no raisins.
  8. Not the white BBQs that I go to. Jalapeños, yes. Raisins, no.
  9. The MDF, due to the water is dimensionally larger...you need to replace the piece.
  10. Bunch of fucking youngsters in here....I'm still pissed about 'the red zone'. Same amount of syllables as 'the twenty', and last time i looked, the 'red zone' grass was the same color as the rest of the field.
  11. Well, kinda.... As my wife and I drove home yesterday from the palouse back to our island on the coast, she asked me why the wheat farmers showed such strong support for trump. After trying to come up with contrasting examples to non-trumpers, I had to settle for 'lack of education'. On another note, our new pup was exceptional on his first pheasant hunting trip. Waaaay beyond my expectations. He was worth the drive to Wisconsin.
  12. There's a 5 acre lot on the water (Puget Sound) for 495k about a nile down the road from me.
  13. Absolutely love my Berettas...
  14. Innsbruck is pretty nice, good shopping and a short train ride from Munich. Garmisch has gotten too big for me, so we canceled and went up hill to Mittenwald. But if you do go to Garmisch, Hotel Reindl is nice.
  15. I opened a EHT Barrel Proof when my BIL was visiting, it was stunning, in a good way.
  16. How many miles does one usually expect out of those engines?
  17. Yeah so do I.....I want to get another one, probably would get a V bottom one to deal with the Puget Sound conditions...
  18. Reminds me of when I was a teenager, long time ago. We had a 13' Boston Whaler that was rated @ 35 hp max, and we had a 50 hp merc on it....it planed on the last 3" of the hull. My brother and I took it from Newport to Avalon, 26 miles...had to swap fuel tanks once. Slept on the beach, returned back to the mainland the next day. Both runs required early morning glass. Used to water ski behind it too...but you had to step start with a load of slack. When you cut on the ski you could steer the boat with your leverage. Fall? Back to the beach...
