  1. give me good playoff urquidy normal bullpen - check and hit the fucking ball - check we've faced heaney a ton through the years, and i doubt they're planning on him going deep into the game - double check
  2. that was more about montgomery, and probably something to do with our inability to hit at home as of late. you fucking marys will wet your pants about anything. we've hit the ball well in this park in sept and again last night, when our run expectancy (is that a thing?) was probably north of 12. give me good playoff urquidy, normal bullpen, and hit the fucking ball. we've faced heaney a ton through the years, and i doubt they're planning on him going deep into the game. let's fucking go.
  3. i'm curious if it's with a group of governors or state officials. it's interesting either way. he's in charge of the state with the world's 5th largest economy and a lot of his biggest donors are jewish, so maybe he feels like getting more involved. and offering support isn't "conducting foreign policy", i think it's more of a humanitarian thing, and yeah, possibly cash.
  4. this is a pretty crazy stage for a gov. not sure i have seen this.
  5. one of the great moments in astros history, no doubt, but a huge part of the drama. 90% of non-astros baseball fans are still convinced he wore some sort of buzzer because of a series of fake tweets and because americans are generally violent morons. if he doesn't make it into the hof on the first ballot, i will blow up cooperstown like a moron.
  6. they can't govern for shit. they can't lead, they can't budget, they can't pass legislation. they're braindead mules and illiterate toddlers. but when it comes to obstruction, they're master fucking strategists.
  7. gaetz was one of the few giving interviews saying it wasn't the dems fault. of course he was in the process of burying mccarthy, so it helped his narrative to say so.
  8. spitballing here, but i would think gaetz had a plan to oust km, replace him with someone new, and ride off into the sunset like the conquering hero, giving all the interviews his filthy mouth would allow. things did not go well, and now we're here, which might explain his silence. the other two, no idea. actually i'm not even sure who granny is.
  9. like i told my doctor at my physical when he said he wanted me down to 168, we all want things we can't have.
  10. btw, here was the 2020 pic. i think there’s a new champ. though that 4r le is prob my favorite bottle. and eht bp is also up there.
  11. the great grocery store score of summer 2020 was the haul by which all other scores are measured. but monday might’ve topped it. i also left a stagg, jr and old fitz 10 on the table. not trying to get divorced over here.
  12. ok so lawler was just on cnn bemoaning the non-cooperation by the dems. blah blah. but just for shits and giggs, let's game this out. for the dems to "cooperate", they would need to find a moderate republican (?) and basically say "find four friends and let's do this, here's what we want..." the dems aren't ever going to "cooperate" by just saying fuck it and voting for mccarthy, jordan, or scalise, we already know this and i applaud their consistency on it. if the above scenario played out, and they found that candidate, and made him speaker, would the republicans all just be cool with it? i don't feel like they would be, especially since deals would be in place with those 217 people and they would be cut out of the process that they currently have a literal majority over. although it would be hilarious to just see those votes pass with 217 every time while the gop squirmed in their seats and shouted to fox news and started fundraising off of it and trashed the 5 republicans...which is all probably what they want anyway. and if they want something, by definition, we should not give it to them. so i guess what i'm asking is, when the pubs ask for (or complain about) cooperation from the dems, what does that look like in their world? history has shown us these people cannot be trusted, so once again, i'm cool sticking with the plan. no reasonable person thinks the dems are at fault here, so yeah. fuck all that.
  13. sometimes when you enjoy a show, it's fun to do a rewatch.
  14. the thing is that i was actually looking for him walking into the room, but saw this one first, and sometimes you just know.
