  1. I got a 12 gun safe on sale a decade ago for $500 that comes with an old school dial combo lock with no batteries. They're out there and not hard to find, if that sort of thing matters to you. But like, if your kids are getting that gung ho to break into your safe, you're raising some miscreants lol
  2. This tracks for me - I went to HS in NEISD and most of those schools have a COMPLETELY different economics and demographics than before - a friend taught English for 10 years at our HS and it's WILDLY different from when I was a student there Look at Churchill if you wanna see the future state of those schools, and Lee (the non magnet portion) if you wanna see even further into the future. The money keeps moving a little further out each time from Lee to Churchill to Reagan to Johnson
  3. This is just for the cleanup cost, nothing to say for wrongful death claims and liability for replacing the bridge
  4. Lol this is the new "boat outside of the wifi range", huh?
  5. Gee whiz, what a shock https://www.rawstory.com/amp/elon-musk-2669477305-2669477305 (Here's the WSJ coverage if that's more your cup of tea https://www.wsj.com/world/russia/musk-putin-secret-conversations-37e1c187) Pretty interesting how his takeover of Twitter maps cleanly onto his interactions with russian handlers. First contact by putin was in May'22, he starts buying Twitter in August'22, and by November it's already underway getting turned into a fascist online hangout
  6. Wow, they put S5E1 of lower decks on YouTube for free
  7. honestly, your wife is probably better off having delivered him prematurely. 10lbs is HUGE! When my daughter hit 11lbs she started eating enough to sleep through the night, so I hope your sleepless newborn phase is short 🤘
  8. If you never give out any money, there was never any lottery amirite? Checkmate, atheists.
  9. They would probably be actually impressed by russian grocery stores
  10. It's really important to catch the dodge and block prompts, otherwise you take a shitload of damage
  11. Pretty low bar lol, the new trilogy is dogwater. Yeah the first game felt like a version of the dark souls combat, just not as punishing when you make mistakes. The second game was a fair bit more its own thing, I'm looking forward to how they finish Cal's story
  12. You really need to diversify your information sources. Buy a subscription to groundnews or one of those news aggregators that tracks factuality and reporting framing bias, I think you'll be shocked to see how narrow your worldview is being informed by your media diet. Because seriously dawg, Tulsi Gabbard literally registered (R) the other day lol. You should also know #bothsides is not gonna make you many friends, aside from anastasis. It's a stubborn lazy and uncritical opinion that's usually used to distract the conversation, rather than defend your indefensible position
  13. This is more of a teaser than a trailer, it feels like
  14. Considering how much qanon was no shit driving US policy, you're not that far off from reality
  15. Lulz Cannon finally getting her reward for her ratfucking https://abcnews.go.com/US/judge-tossed-trumps-classified-docs-case-list-proposed/story?id=114997807 A proposed personnel roster circulating within Donald Trump's campaign and transition operation lists Aileen Cannon, the federal judge who threw out Trump's classified documents case, as a possible candidate for attorney general, multiple sources familiar with the matter have told ABC News. Cannon's name appears on a document reviewed by ABC News titled "Transition Planning: Legal Principals," which lists potential staffing for the White House counsel's office, the Department of Justice, the FBI, and U.S. attorneys' offices, as well as proposed candidates for the top legal positions within multiple government agencies, should Trump be reelected. The document was drafted by Trump's top advisers with input from Boris Epshteyn, who oversees Trump's legal team and is one of Trump's most trusted advisers, sources familiar with the matter said. Cannon's name appears second after former SEC Chairman Jay Clayton, according to the document reviewed by ABC News, which includes nearly a dozen potential candidates for attorney general. Cannon's name was added to the list well after the classified documents case was thrown out over the summer, the sources said.
  16. Yo, this is me/my family. The SALT caps plus Texas constantly raising taxes via bullshit magical property valuations has resulted in a higher nominal tax rate for me
  17. You kidding me?? That'll result in HUGE profits for the insurance and hospital companies! They'd love to have more chances to ensnare ever more millions of America into their debt cycle and savings destruction machine
  18. They'll just be a little well done for a while
  19. Those damn trans folks are at it again, grooming children for their cause
  20. Please, the preferred parlance for our chuds to use is "soy boy"
