  1. One of the targetted Columbia students has published a letter on her experience getting gestapo'd TLDR: On March 6, this student got a "survey" from a private number asking about conditions on campus. For some reason, the caller revealed they already had her exact current address. On March 7 this poor woman was literally on the phone with her Columbia University advisor when ICE knocked on her door on their first attempt to deport her. Her advisor who just told her in writing she was in good legal status and standing and could continue her employment as a TA. She NOPE'd the fuck outta there and ICE kept coming back threatening to appear until they could put her into removal proceedings without a warrant or court order, despite her good legal standing. To escalate on March 9, ICE illegally terminated her student/exchange VISA and Columbia immediately disenrolled her and started seeking her out in person as well to "confirm she was still at home and received their notice". Fearing getting blackbagged by ICE, Ranjani fled for Canada on March 11. ICE and DHS raided her former home at CU on March 13, and then tweeted a victory tweet on the 14th claiming she "self deported" for alleged crimes without evidence. ICE is working with universities now. Universities are more than happy to help blackbag their students. What starts here changes the world.
  2. Every time someone longcats a thread, a Lobo gets his wings
  3. It's darkly funny to see the lawyers STILL not understanding that act like they're playing chess when the new game they're playing is Russian roulette. Even being at this table is a bad fuckin time, rules and laws have left us long ago because they simply couldn't keep up - how else could we end up here?
  4. His son is gonna be ALL over that, amirite???
  5. In crypto, this is called a "wash trade"
  6. It was a scam, but crime is legal now. At least if you align yourself with El Presedente
  7. I cannot emphasize it enough - GamerGate and that hate machine that spun up in the early 20-teens is the nitro that fuels trumpco and trumpism. Steve Bannon has said it himself many times, this is from a 2017 interview about how he learned from playing WoW how to "activate" a troll army It's been going on for more than a decade now, and is basically the background radiation in gaming and entertainment
  8. Shit, we would be fortunate to have someone that actually looks for and listens to experts to solve problems.
  9. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/university-alabama-doctoral-student-detained-ice-governments-college-c-rcna198320 More academics being disappeared by ICE. This guy doesn't seem to have done anything except be Iranian. Maybe we should rename the thread to "ethnic cleansing thread of dominance"
  10. Damaging their livers because they're following brainworm heroin addict advice instead of a doctors advice https://www.yahoo.com/news/after-rfk-jr-recommends-vitamin-a-as-a-measles-treatment-some-texas-patients-show-signs-of-toxicity-214353603.html?guccounter=1 Weeks after Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. touted vitamin A as an effective treatment for measles amid the largest outbreak of disease in decades, hospitalized patients in West Texas are being treated for signs of vitamin A toxicity. Several patients at Covenant Children’s Hospital in Lubbock have been found to have abnormal liver function, CNN reported, which can occur when a person takes excessive doses of vitamin A. Those being treated include “a handful of unvaccinated children who were given so much vitamin A that they had signs of liver damage,” the New York Times reported.
  11. Hey isn't a favorite bugaboo to concern troll about "price controls"? Why aren't y'all more vocal now that they're actually being seriously proposed by the president? WSJ: Trump Warned U.S. Automakers Not to Raise Prices in Response to Tariffs
  12. Really good breakdown by Ward Carrol on this shit show. For context: he's a retired naval aviator who's planned and executed these sorts of strikes and has originated strike plans. He explains why it's critical and necessary to use a SCIF and tolerate the inconvenience of highly secure comms. He also explains why this would get any mere mortal sent to Leavenworth. He agrees, ain't nothin gonna happen. It's now how trumpco rolls.
  13. Yeah weird. Elon was named as someone "looking into" the signal opsec fuckup by Mike Waltz. That makes about as much sense as selling gold from Ft Knox to buy more Bitcoin, so sure why not.
  14. 'member when wearing a mask was the worst thing you could do near a protest? I 'member. Almost like it was never about the masks and just an excuse to exercise their authoritarian supremacist reflexes
  15. I was told that signal met opsec and encryption needs for this stuff. Nobody bats 1000 And it will remain to be seen if anything actually happens over this, or if the administration just says "fuck are you gonna do about it?" and the republicans fall in line

  17. Not to mention the pentagon had specifically warned about foreign adversaries penatrating Signal https://www.npr.org/2025/03/25/nx-s1-5339801/pentagon-email-signal-vulnerability So uh yeah I'm gonna have to disagree with you and imma that it satisfies opsec requirements
  18. I gotta say, selling US Treasury gold bars in order to buy more Bitcoin is just about the dumbest fucking thing I've ever heard of.
  19. Good lord man get a hold of yourself lol. Telling people to go buy specific shares in a company is not in the same solar system as "hey look at these efficient and hybrid vehicles". Although keep reaching, I'm curious to see how far you can stretch
  20. If you or I disclosed this level of national security information we would be on our way to El Salvador with fuckin black bags on our heads dude. This is an outrageous level of disclosure and ongoing illegal communication. Fuck outta here with "it's too hard" bullshit. Give them a laptop with a SMART card and government SIM. Ease of use should not be a priority when the stakes are Airmen getting shot down on a mission because they wanted to send emojis instead of ASCII
  21. Signal the app may be secure but their devices certainly aren't cleared for classified communications. There's dedicated networks for that shit. Endpoints are extremely vulnerable. They're doing it precisely because it's against the rules - it's an expression of their authority and power. Even moreso when nobody is fired or prosecuted because of this. It was like a couple weeks ago that gabbard was spouting off about LEAKERS!!!!ONE!!!
  22. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cy4v3ndg28jo The White House has confirmed that a journalist was inadvertently added to an unsecure group chat in which US national security officials planned a military strike in Yemen. ... The National Security Council did not deny the Atlantic report. Spokesman Brian Hughes told the BBC: "At this time, the message thread that was reported appears to be authentic. "We are reviewing how an inadvertent number was added to the chain. "The thread is a demonstration of the deep and thoughtful policy co-ordination between senior officials."
  23. Here's a gift link to the article https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2025/03/trump-administration-accidentally-texted-me-its-war-plans/682151/?gift=J_CNpt7Ar1nKEXqJWVh1ulEUSzqbExa4Kxm41rX0EQA&utm_source=copy-link&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=share
