Yes, I do. I don't have any problem with the spirit of reforming/getting rid of police.
If that is the only policy that they want, I'd be fine with it.
Who is "they"? Black people, or people who think black lives matter? Because you're rhetorically distancing yourself from "them" in everything you're saying, and it sounds like you don't think there's other structural and institutional racism that needs reform

Thanks for the information.
Guess they should just defund him then, or add a law that people that sign contracts against the wishes of the CC are personally responsible for any lawsuits resulting from said contract.
Pass a law? To constrain police? In Wilco? Have you been paying attention at all? lol.
Somehow, police unions are routinely able to strongarm local governments and authorities into accepting whatever terms the union wants. Because if the city doesn't, the cops will take their ball and go home, public service be damned. That's the pattern here in TX and everywhere else in the country.

I don't think that's fully fair. Had protests never occurred and this was all just due to reopening etc perhaps. Not sure if you have seen the picture from Austin yesterday where thousands of people were shoulder to shoulder. I fully support and endorse the protests (and I guess can conceptually agree that police brutality is due to negligence in leadership if that is point you're making).
Hospitalizations for me are key and now they are rising. They will continue to rise I'd imagine as all of these people gather together in mass demonstrations across the state.
The rise we're seeing right now is not from the protests, those were too recent. This is the Memorial Day opening weekend bump. I'd bet we'll ramp up even harder in a week to week and a half.

Workswithseed is that guy at the Breast Cancer Awareness march getting all pissed off and yelling “All Cancers Matter!”.
If he were at the sermon on the mount, he would have yelled back "no, blessed are ALL people!"

Maybe.
But we know for certain who does have a huge say in selecting the election boards.

So if they stand by and allow the Governor and SOTS to suppress the vote, what does that say about them?
Interesting that you're far more concerned with who to blame and not that thousands of citizens are being systemically denied the right to vote. At least, based on the volume of your posts on one subject compared to another.

In a thread/topic about police brutality, the president's rhetoric is pretty relevant to the discussion. Especially when he's openly advocated for police to be rougher with suspects and frequently claims that the police can't do their jobs anymore. You are aware that the president oversees DOJ, which oversees policing on a national level, right?
Nothing to do with politics, everything to do with actually talking about the problem and how it can be addressed.

I predict they will switch to something derived from their phone silicon, maybe an ARM CPU paired with a GPU. They will start with the lowest end MacBooks and work their way up from there. It makes it easier to develop MacOS and iOS and it will cut cost out of the Mac lineup. I think you'll see low end Windows laptops that are essentially the same thing.
Essentially your laptop is becoming a big phone.
Apple is currently developing an ARM-based Macbook that uses a juiced up version of the iPad pro processor

so wait, is BabaYaga a cop? He sure gets angry when anyone even slightly challenges him.

It's a shame that memory is so expensive to get on a Mac. 8GB of memory is ok if all they're going to do is web browsing and working on word documents, but if they're doing anything with spreadsheets or trying to do much multitasking, they're going to hit bottlenecks and it'll feel sluggish.
Or ya know, if they open a trillion fucking tabs and never close them, which NEVER happens lol

Bob Kroll is a piece of shit. What of it? Did Trump hire him? Did Trump continue to employ him? Did Trump promote him through the ranks of the MPD? I'm just a big dummy, so explain to me how responsibility for Bob Kroll falls at Trump's feet, and not the government of the city of Minneapolis
Trump has featured Kroll at one of his campaign rallies
Literally elevated him on a national stage, and talked at length about how the cops just aren't being allowed to do their jobs anymore.
It's a pretty fair assessment to say that he was directly supported and empowered by being brought on stage and told over and over how respected and powerful he is by the president of the US.

Trump definitely didn't write the second tweet. I really doubt he would have used the word "intimating" lol

question I have is when they say type A do they just mean Type A or do they mean all the Types that start with A?
A is a type, and AB is another type but it can accept donations of A, in addition to B or AB, with the matching type being most preferred. I think with regards to COVID, it's only been observed to disproportionately impact type A patients. Someone, please correct me if I'm wrong though

Surprised this hasn't been posted here yet
Fox News apologized Saturday for how it displayed a chart correlating the stock market's performance with the aftermath of the deaths of George Floyd, Martin Luther King Jr. and Michael Brown.
The graphic that aired Friday to illustrate market reactions to historic periods of civil unrest "should have never aired on television without full context. We apologize for the insensitivity of the image and take this issue seriously,” the cable channel said in a statement.

I never thought that old guy with the Dow hats would live to wear a Dow 50000 hat but it’s not only happening, but likely in 2021. Who would’ve guessed?
Multiple expansion bro.
It only makes sense in this economic climate if you think about it.

About 2 years ago the 'community' changed. I toughed it out for a year and finally said, "Fuck it."
It's almost like there's been some sweeping and bedrock shift in the way our country runs that has moved away from equity and towards thecorruption and perversion of justice.
Nah, couldn't be that

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/05/us/buffalo-police-shove-protester-unrest.htmlShit man if you or I were on video shoving someone over then walking away when we saw blood coming from their ear, we would be in handcuffs right now. Suspension is not enough.
Apply the fucking law equally to ALL criminals, even if they've got a star on their chest

So how much do you think the markets will go up on the news of only a couple million more people seeking unemployment, rather than 4 million? All time highs, perhaps?
