  1. The nazis literally signed agreements with zionists (The Haavara Agreement of 1933), specifically because it gave the nazis a reason to set German Jews aside as separate and foreign. They were to ship all their Jews off to Palestine, and it was opposed by non-zionist German Jews who feared getting forcibly shipped off - or worse. Zionists playing okeydoke with authoritarians and dictators is not exactly new.
  2. Your insistence that such an offense exists when it's been confirmed that there was no crime or wrongdoing, or even breaking Columbia's private code of conduct, is just ridiculous. This legal resident is being deported for having unpopular speech, in a nation that specifically protects freedom of speech from government reprisals. For EVERYONE - not just citizens.
  3. https://vancouversun.com/news/bc-woman-detained-at-us-border-sent-to-arizona-detention-facility Alexis Eagles, of Abbotsford, said her 35-year-old daughter, Jasmine Mooney, entered the U.S. at the San Ysidro border crossing between Mexico and San Diego on March 3 with an incomplete application for a Trade NAFTA work visa. She said U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers arrested her and she spent three nights in the detention centre at the busiest land border crossing in the world. Mooney has not been charged with any crime and does not have a criminal record.
  4. TSLA has done quite a lot with AR-CNN models but visual data simply is not enough to navigate a car. Not even embedding/integrating collision avoidance radar has led to a number of instances where a "FSD" active car plows through emergency workers and first responders and doesn't even realize it hit anything. There's stories of plowing through deer all over the place, after suffering a ton of phantom stops from the visual system either hallucinating or not having enough data to reach sufficient confidence. I don't believe that their whole solution is generations better, sensor fusion has been the state of the art for years and elon is the only outlier in insisting that an exclusively visual model is all that's needed. Repeating his insistence will not make it fact, but it might get ya a few more stock points out of the TSLA dead cat bounce
  5. An authoritarian? Using emergency powers to cement their hold over a former democracy??
  6. tfw Jesus is literally a Palestinian.
  7. she was big on tiktok IIRC, but goddamn, her humor doesn't last longer than 30 seconds I guess. Every time she shows up it's just to sing shittily with a crappy keyboard
  8. They confirmed it in the production podcast hosted by Stiller and Scott that it's different innies in each room. They mentioned that part of the excitement and challenge with the episode was doing truly 7 different characters, and working with the set and costume design team to build each microcosm
  9. Cobel was a child laborer, as young as 8, working at a Lumon ether plant. She was ID'd as a gifted child and whisked away to a Lumon school, while the ether plant had a spill/leak/"accident" and effectively poisoned the town. The whole episode (IMO) was meant to show what Lumon leaves in it's wake. It's implied that Cobels mom died from the ether poisoning, and Lumon both caused that death and prevented Cobel from saying goodbye. Cissy is a remaining artifact of Lumon - a True Believer - and is hated by the town for it. I think this episode was meant to show a change of heart or a moment of opposite radicalization for Harmony.
  10. They hadn't really changed or modernized or improved the business or tech since the 90s, they ruined themselves decades ago when they decided to steal from the business to pay out shareholders (who are overwhelmingly execs and board members). If your business plan for the future is a Hail Mary for an outsider to fix everything, then your business was already pretty damn precarious. Good riddance though. I've missed shows and events because of SWA and their bullshit last minute flight cancellations. I had to fight to even get a refund instead of accepting a flight scheduled for the same day as my return
  11. My guy, people were still rabidly backing the reich while our bombers were making their piles of rubble shake on the ground. I doubt we will ever see the mass protest phase because of civil crackdowns on protests of any kind. And very fine people and business leaders will LAP THAT SHIT UP because it'll be done under the guise of "property rights protection" - legally establishing that an oligarchs property has more rights and legal protections than human beings. We've seen literally all of this shit before. Sub in Elon for Porsche and roll the clock back 90 years. https://www.historyanswers.co.uk/history-of-war/porsche-the-nazis-how-the-supercar-king-became-fascisms-favourite-engineer/
  12. "I'm glad the US is breaking the law to deport and detain anyone who says anything the president personally doesn't like" No CR tho!!! The above is a completely apolitical statement It's gonna be real fun when the president follows through with designating protests against his primary donors companies as "domestic terrorism". So great job thinking ahead, as always Rex.
  13. Gender affirming care for me, but not for thee...
  14. Hey wasn't MSTR a darling stonk because of their crypto purchases? https://www.investors.com/news/mstr-stock-strategy-bitcoin-price-21-billion-buying-binge/ Buying $17B of assets for $21B seems like bad business but I'm just a tech guy
  15. Well he wasn't charged with anything and the university didn't even officially claim he broke their rules of conduct The current reporting that I can find (unless you can find something else to refute it) is that he was pointed out to senators Cruz and Fetterman by Jewish student groups, and then ICE arrested him (I found the link from his wiki page) https://forward.com/news/703018/mahmoud-khalil-columbia-cuad-ice/
  16. punched through $80k where it bounced off before
  17. That's one of his (trans) (estranged) children
  18. The specifics listed in the article state that he was actually granted his green card AFTER the protests that you are claiming (and being repped in support lulz) were unlawful or "went too far with it". If he had broken any laws, do you think he would have still been granted a green card? His school claimed that he had allegations of misconduct and withheld his academic records. When his lawyers asked "no but really", suddenly there was no issue. This is simply silencing speech that you don't care to hear. I certainly know that many of the surly community delight in crushing free speech and are delighted at what is yet to come.
  19. @Hate this is our concern dude. This is why we can't just ignore the ugliness of what's going on around us and bury our heads in the sand.
  20. Dancing on the $80k floor again, definitely getting tested with every other floor this week/month/year/term
  21. What are you talking about? We will no longer have bad economic numbers or bad jobs reports! Wulaws rejoice! https://www.reuters.com/world/us/trump-administration-disbands-two-expert-panels-economic-data-2025-03-05/
  22. Yikes, student protesters are starting to get their visas and green cards revoked. So much for free speech
  23. That came across my feed and I had to turn it off after about 5 minutes - he was just repeating "shit" over and over and over
