  1. I was asking more about the vitriol being directed at him. Lots of true freshmen are shitty.
  2. Antwane 'Juice' Wells Jr. https://247sports.com/player/antwane-wells-46129348/ https://jmusports.com/sports/football/roster/antwane-wells-jr-/17255#:~:text=Had 36 catches for 880,straight Class 5 state titles… https://gamecocksonline.com/sports/football/roster/player/antwane-wells-jr/ https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/antwane-wells-jr-1.html
  3. There are a plethora of WRs to choose from in the portal.
  4. FWIW - Eric Nahlin (IT) had a note on Kris Ross this morning. Ross was dismissed from the team earlier this year but is still at Texas and attending classes. IT is reporting that North Shore source has told them that Ross hopes to return to the team. Wil be interesting to see how Sark handles it. According to IT Ross did not have any history of bad behavior and he has a skill set (quick first step) few if any of the DL on the team possess.
  5. Was an unranked recruit out of high school who had to spend a year at Fork Union Prep before he ended up at a good FCS James Madison program. As a freshman led the team in catches, yards, and TDs and was named an FCS freshman All-American. As a sophomore he had a monster season and was named an FCS All American. Transferred to South Carolina in 2022 and led that team in catches, yards and TDs. Last season had what was described as a 'lower body injury' over the summer and was unable to make it all the way through each of the first three games this season and was ruled out of the last 9 after having ankle surgery.
  6. I've seen people mention Juan Davis as a portal guy - but unless he already has his degree I don't see that happening. He's spent three years in this offense and certainly by this point knows what his 'fit' is if any. He plays on ST's and has played in 10 games this year (including all of the 4th quarter snaps with Arch) - so he's not somebody the coaches are looking to bury. I'm guessing we see one more year of Juan.

  8. I don't think we're in a 'choose' position yet. Apparently Hibbler only very recently reached out to Texas coaches to re-engage.
  9. Everyones favorite bagman Clint Hurtt made the transition from DL to DC - so it happens though definitely not as often. Nobody is moving him up there without some belief that he can coordinate as well as recruit. At this point there has been nothing other than rumr - but there definitely have been rumors that he was up for / interviewed for DC jobs
  10. The difference is that with Rhule, Robinson would actually have a chance to call a defense. If that's important to him - and he if he wants to eventually be a HC it should be - then a small step down in pay shouldn't be a big deal. We'll see.
  11. He does. Believe it was 50k. He gets 100k for making the Big12 title game and another 100k for winning it.
  12. Poteet and Navarro College. https://247sports.com/player/louis-moore-46128943/
  13. This is the correct answer. Grad transfer is why he won't have to sit out a year.
  14. Was Stewart under the impression anyone not named Jimbo was going to keep Craig?
  15. Georgia only has 230 punt return yards. Texas has 368 punt return yards. Texas has had 68 yards of punt return against them - for a net of 300. Texas opponent punt return yards by game: Rice - 0 Alabama - (-6) Wyoming - 17 Baylor - 0 Kansas - 0 Oklahoma - 0 Houston - 6 BYU - 18 Kansas St. - 4 Iowa St. - 29 Texas Tech - 0
  16. Smith isn't flipping. He is celebrating the Elko hire and Gerry doesn't think Texas is pushing for Smith the same way they are for others (Filsaime, Lindsey, Hibbler).
  17. I'm going to save some time and just DM then Daddy98's scouting reports.
