  1. PFF shows him as a 'Starter' in 3 games: Alabama, Oklahoma, and Kansas
  2. Adari Haulcy. From Missouri City. He apparently doesn't have the length Texas is looking for at safety - he's only 5'10". Allegedly recruited into the portal by aggy and then ended up at USC. Doesn't seem like Texas is interested in getting into bidding wars at this point.
  3. Thats the point - its beginning to look like those guys might not become available. I think portal may play out like Free Agency where the top guys on a team get taken care of by collectives but there isn't enough money to keep those next tier of guys around. Is Sark willing to sign that next tier - or is he just big game hunting?
  4. This. Deion may be a great coach - I don't know - but I do know that a couple of great players (like Travis Hunter) aren't going to have the same impact playing in the P5 as they would in a lower level like HBCUs.
  5. That may be true - but why the hell would anyone take his word for it? There are roughly 400 5 & 4 star players in a class - you're saying half of them reached out to Deion in 12 hours? Or even if you're talking a couple of classes 25% Guy is a world-class self-promoter and its ridiculous to take anything he says at face value.
  6. I don't have as much faith as you do that there will suddenly be an abundance of talent entering the portal after bowl games.
  7. His highlights are underwhelming. A lot of him Mossing some 5'6" DII defensive backs, but not many of him actually getting separation and getting open. He does have some pretty spectacular catches so the hands might be really good.
  8. Well, that sucks. I thought that was the one position Texas would be aggressive looking to fill via the portal. But it looks like they are being ultra selective about their offers to the point that if they don't get a portal safety they're ok with that.
  9. God damn - DII? Thats a hell of a jump up. My first thought was he must be a hell of an athlete - then I found his 100m PR is an 11.73
  10. DTD is from Norfolk and I assume that's where his mom lives. Google says the Kimmel Breast Cancer Program at Johns Hopkins is one of the best in the world.
  11. He's had two good seasons at Utah St - and would have been nice to have as depth here at Texas. Or maybe you're just a really big Jett Bush fan?
  12. Diamonte Tucker-Dorsey starter set. Little guy (5'10" 200) who was productive in his first year starting. 3 years eligibility left.
  13. Its possible to be a highly productive college player but not have the measurables to be a draftable NFL player. Maybe he thinks a little NIL money and college women are preferable to a year grinding out minimum salary in the NFL. FWIW - here is how PFF graded him out compared to our ED's (using the vernacular PFF uses) Overall
  14. I guess quality MBA program wasn't as high on the list of requirements as many thought.
  15. Have no idea if Texas reached out - but FSU just picked up a really good player.
  16. Good production as a Freshman - 29 catches for 426 yards and 4 touchdowns. Looks like he spent most of the year battling a high ankle sprain and ended up only playing in 4 games. 247 says he is a Fort Bend kid who ended up playing his Jr & Sr years in Tennessee.
  17. Reminds me of Warren Moon beating the shit out of his wife - bad enough that their scared kid called 911 - and that night the wife claiming he choked and slapped her. The next day after everyone had a chance to talk to a lawyer her story changed and she said she was the aggressor. DA still brought charges and forced her to testify. Moon was acquitted by a Fort Bend jury that had two members who gave interviews after the trial that 'some violence in a marriage was normal' and that 'most marriages involve some slapping'. The victim recanting their statement in a domestic violence case doesn't mean a whole hell of a lot. The statement the night of and any physical evidence that exists (or doesn't) should drive this investigation.
  18. Tre Harris just committed to Ole Miss. Sucks because he’s a really good receiver, but guess he wasn’t the ‘large catch radius’ WR Texas is looking for.
  19. Appears to be based off of this tweet: I guess other players previously were tweeting the little 'lock' symbol indicating they were locked in to aggy. Now Sylla tweets an 'unlock'.
