  1. Depends on the State. My vote is completely worthless in Louisiana… now if I lived in PA, GA, AZ, FL, OH, WI or Michigan then sitting out would be idiotic. But thanks to the Electoral College and arbitrary geography determining the value of my ballot, I can abstain completely guilt free! Perhaps it’s our entire system of choosing a leader that is the real moron here.
  2. The silver lining is it’s good this fiasco is happening now and not in September. There will be plenty of time to circle the wagons should they need circling… the media and the public have very short term memories. This will likely be a blip on the radar come October surprise time.
  3. That’s the strategy, filibuster to avoid more questions
  4. The old Strom Thurmond filibuster strategy. Get ‘em Joe!
  5. You know Trump literally does crimes right? Like lots of them. Nothing matters.
  6. Everyone fucking knew… this inner circle shit is laughable.
  7. I could have sworn it was going to be Rubio. He’s the smart pick.
  8. To me, that wouldn’t be playing dirty, it would just be whistling past the grave yard while destroying any perceived credibility advantage you have over the republicans. Playing dirty to me would be orchestrating this whole fiasco with the well developed plan to have some manufactured “savior” candidate show up in the 11th hour to annihilate Trump. Sadly, Dems are not that competent but they pulled some diabolical late-stage teamwork shit in the 2020 primary to get Biden over the finish line. Great job Dems!
  9. What color is the cake? Who is paying for this cake? Are the Republicans okay with us getting cake? What are the short and long term consequences of cake? How old is the cake? Are tax credits available for people who decline cake? What will this cake do to the national debt? Can we delay the cake? With so many unanswered questions death seems to be the prudent choice here. Death please.
  10. Pretty sure Dems would choose death in the “Cake or Death?” challenge. Cake is just too difficult right now, perhaps in the future we could hopefully work towards cake with the right leadership.
  11. Like this is exactly why we have Vice Presidents, for situations like this, holy fuck people.
  12. While this is so dark and awful I do find it kinda funny that Trump really has no interest in doing the job of president, he hates it, he was miserable with actual responsibility, and you can tell he’d much rather be on the sidelines shit stirring.
  13. The Dem leadership is complicit and have been for a long time. They’ve enabled and elevated these monsters for perceived easy election wins and exceeding fundraising goals. They’re as sociopathic as the big banks. The Democratic voters are mostly good folks that just want to do the right thing and protect vulnerable people from harm. We’d be better off if the leadership of both parties found some way to murder/suicide each other.
  14. Look, I may have kinda sorta advocated for a rebellion against the U.S. government earlier today in CR… glad that shit got wiped… will not happen again.
  15. You think it’s bad now but just wait until the Democrats quadruple down on learning all the wrong lessons from losing to Trump AGAIN! You think they’re going to change their tune and come in with a real bold reformer, get shit done kind of candidate/leader? Nah, they’ll give us Mitt Romney light in a Pete Buttigieg packaging and pray to holy heaven that elections still exist/matter in 2028 so Joe Hillary Jefferies can beat Ron DeSantis/Josh Hawley. This country’s government is irrevocably fucked either way you slice it. Might as well start fomenting a rebellion now and hope whatever comes out on the other side is slightly less cruel than what America’s kids have to look forward to… a lifetime of working to pay off banks and insurance companies in the form student loans, mortgages, and medical debt. This is all assuming we’re not engulfed in a major global conflict, which appears closer to a reality every day. /doomsayer rant
  16. I like how Biden is basically saying “the voters are responsible for not addressing my cognitive decline issues in time, which I strategically concealed from them by not participating in a primary or primary debates. The voters have decided, this is a democracy.”
