I think we're done at WR.
Pretty good chance the top 4 could potentially be gone after next year so really need about 4 blowouts to get Cook, Red and Moore some game reps (with Arch??). Hopefully Sark lets his nuts hang on the B12 on the way out and allows our young guys to get true game reps, not just run out the clock for the last quarter and half.

What do recruits moms not love about this staff ?
They don’t love that the staff paid their sons in crypto which tanked several months later….

OL will be interesting. Lots of different ways they could go. I think the only guaranteed starters at this point would be Banks, Jones, and I suppose Campbell.
As much as I’d like to see some of the young, high-profile guys in the lineup, I just can’t see Hutson, Majors and Conner starting all this year and then being backups next year. I would like to see more of a rotation at the guard positions at least to keep these guys engaged.
-
Layden Robinson coming back next year. Didn’t grade out very good on the field, but was highly ranked on the “experts” draft boards. Anytime you can keep an older guy that would’ve probably been drafted at a position of weakness is good.
I’ve got a feeling Ainias will come back too. Sounds like a big rebound year for Jimbo to get back on track with his 8-4s. -

As I'm an offseason optimist I will posit the theory that Brooks's hernia was a driving factor behind the strange RB rotation in the bowl game. He still got some run but they didn't want to put a starter's workload on him.
If I'm wrong you'll never convince me of it.
Did our crack staff of Longhorn reporters ever ask Sark why Brooks played 2nd fiddle after a month of them hyping up the Jonathan Brooks coming out party?

Feel bad for his fiancée, she’s going to have to marry an accountant or autozone manager now.

Another thing that bothered the hell out of me was the insistence on him returning punts - when did he prove better than D'shawn Jamieson? He's never shown the daredevil spirit of the best returners, much less as a receiver. What about giving Red, Thompson or K-rob a shot? even Jwhitt seems more a return man. I don't recall once holding my breath thinking he'd break one. I could only rationalize that it was a personal stats chase or Sark promise to help get him here.
Wondered about this too. I guess he had better “hands” than Jamison (funny, I know), but Jamison was a dynamic returner who should have been back there on KR as well. I guess his injuries kept him off ST and then never got back in there???

Jimbo pretty much did that after last signing day and all summer in his little spat with Saban……and nobody questioned anything. Everyone kept using the word “NIL” eventhough Jimbo said none of the young guys got it…and he really didn’t know what NIL was to begin with.

JT patiently waited his turn last season and despite mentioned drops, has stepped up and balled out when given the opportunity.
Someone correct me if my memory is off here but- X waited until the last minute of portal window and threated to leave unless we upped his deal. Has given sorry ass effort all season which is well documented. And today, for the second time in last three months, has scrubbed all UT related references from his social media either to drum up suspense and/or because he's a little dramatic bitchass.
It's not just about the dropped balls. It's not just about him regressing this season. It's about him being a shitty, one foot out the door teammate for well over a year now.
Oh, I agree 100% about taking JT’s attitude/effort over Worthy’s bitchassedness, but this (potentially fictitious) sideline ruckus was about JT supposedly getting into Worthy’s face about dropped balls.
-
Not sure JT should be the one chastising anyone for dropping balls. A case can be made he cost us the OSU game with his drop as we were driving down to tie (maybe win) and he had 1-2 drops against TCU that were painful.

Roschon is the last guy in all of CFB I thought would not put the team first and play. He's not afraid of getting injured in the Senior Bowl though.
No reason for him or Overshown to sit out. They are 3-4th rounders at best.
I can see Bijan’s reasoning, but even then, none of the Bama studs sat out their game.- 1

Going to be frustrating watching Brooks play 2nd fiddle to K Robinson all next year.

Holy shit, these spots for Washington.

Love how Texas is minus 2 on all spots and every other team is plus 1
Bijan lost about 200 yards for the season due to this. Every run (especially in the B12), he was spotted 1-2 yards short of where he should’ve been.

Somebody please tell our dipshit coach he has run the ball 8 times to 22 pass attempts
For 18 yards. We ran the ball 3 times one possession and went 3 & out. Need to get Campbell in there to open some holes.

So did the daughter’s boyfriend who snuck into her bedroom after midnight ever give his side of the story?

That was Auston English. Never seen something like that uncalled before or since.
Can’t believe everyone just sat there and watched that happen without any type of retaliation (specifically the OL). They either didn’t like Colt or were a bunch of pussies.

Miami going after Derek Williams and Hill setting up visits after a non-binding verbal commitment to UT is not tampering. That's recruiting. Schools can't officially communicate or entice a player enrolled at a different school. Big difference.
Tell that to Jimbo. He thought teams contacting aggies in the portal was tampering….

Looch acts like it would be some limb he is going way out on for Hicks to be over Hill...when that's the case literally everywhere that does recruiting rankings
- Hicks is over Hill (9 vs 19) in the 247 Composite.
- Hicks is over Hill (7 vs 15) in the On3 Composite
- Hicks is over Hill (16 vs 62) in On3's rankings
- Hicks is over Hill (12 vs 22) in 247's rankings
- Hicks is over Hill (15 vs 18) in ESPN's rankings
- Hicks is over Hill (5 vs 15) in Rival's rankings
- Hicks is over Hill in the (1 vs 2) in Ketch's Lone Star Recruiting Top 100 for Texas
What if Hicks flipped to OU and Hill stayed with aggy? Then Hill > Hicks in the Looch44.

where are you seeing this? not on twitter, reddit, anywhere i am seeing. literally yesterday they talked about his 4 finalist schools (Colorado + USC/UGA/Miami)?
Saw it on Facebook last night, so it has to be true. However, I can’t find that post or maybe I was drunk, so I guess he’s still a free agent? I guess the bridge was burned at FSU.

I watched Murphy during pregame warmups before the Baylor game and Ewers accuracy looked like Aaron Rodgers compared to Murphy. I didn’t notice his arm being any stronger than Ewers either. It was pretty alarming.
