  1. Certainly at this point. Please remember the poll was created on Jan 3. New shit has come to light.
  2. The Sooners can't be done with WR. They only have 3 WR who've done anything coming back (Mims-hopefully, Wease-from injury, Stoops) and 9 total including 2 freshman. Bama's going to be short on returning WR too so pulling a good one's going to be tough.
  3. Do you think this takes OU out of the Mekhi Wingo sweepstakes or affects their 2022 DT recruiting? DaShaun White is also coming back so another solid player, at least, coming back on defense. Do you have any insight on the silence regarding OU and portal WR?
  4. I would've gladly included the Bruins, but the poll was created before there was any buzz about UCLA. I haven't believed the UCLA stories at all because of the history of Chip's QBs in the NFL and Williams interest in development for the league (trust me, I'm aware of the NIL, but he's also playing the long game). I've viewed the UCLA rumors as a ruse for the eventual discover of him visiting LA.
  5. Nick Saban sounds like he cares. "College football fans and players both want full stadiums this fall," he said in the video. "Let's make sure we can safely make this happen by getting vaccinated. Please get your COVID-19 vaccine. We want Bryant-Denny Stadium loud again this coming season. Roll Tide!" https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10003174-alabama-hc-nick-saban-encourages-fans-to-get-covid-19-vaccine-in-psa-video @texifornia@Hank_Hill are right. In addition to the NC State example, Andrew Raym (OU's center) was out for several games because he wasn't vaxxed and in protocol limbo. The vax stuff matters because it's divisive in locker rooms too. What Michigan did, where everyone got their 3rd shot together is the way to go.
  6. Prayers = yards after contact Penn St yards per rush: 3.3 Noah Cain yards per rush: 3.3 Do we know he's good?
  7. What I take from this video is that I too could play football for SC. WTF, I do dynamic workouts with more weight than that.
  8. Baylor's WR coach going to ND. ND's pulled 1 player out of Texas in the last 4 years. @notre dame joe Do you think this hire was for recruiting? https://wacotrib.com/sports/college/baylor/baylors-stuckey-to-be-named-notre-dame-wr-coach/article_00e69a38-7411-11ec-b9b2-7fc9c8f9c0fa.html
  9. Sort of bored with it at this point.
  10. https://247sports.com/Player/Chuck-Filiaga-75977/ Michigan OG to Minnesota. Would have been a superior interior OL option for OU (or any team needing a interior OL really) because of his high level experience + flexibility.
  11. UT actually has a lot of what Mario Williams has expressed interest in. He definitely does have interest in baseball. Riley allowing Kyler Murray to play both was an important point in his recruitment. Mario was also openly interested in NIL early. He has a cameo account link in his twitter page. One more thing. Apparently he was one of the guys who didn't get to take many (?any) recruiting trips because of the Covid and expressed disappointment about it.
  12. At some point I knew this, but it seems my interest in SC is already waning. Good luck to them and move on.
  13. Makes a lot more sense. Who did they get for CB? I was hoping OU was angling for Clinkscale from Michigan. What's Odom doing (doubt he's there for long)?
  14. Need the roster spot, so good riddance
  15. Probably not, much farther walk.
  16. @Elmer_Fudd Drew Sanders = ATX — Tope Imade (@TopeImade) January 11, 2022 ________________________________________________________________ You're right Drew Sanders committed to OU as a TE. UT DL recruiting an LB, and an OU DL (Isaiah Coe) did the same. I wonder what the respective LB already on the roster think of this. Weird times.
  17. McCutchin leaving isn't a surprise, but I'm surprised that he'd go to SC. The new DB coaches at SC (Grinch and Manning) are the same guys who benched him at mid-season. OU's got 5 other DBs from the 2020 and 2021 classes who've played very little or not at all. I wonder if some more departures come from here. Also, OU seems very interested in DE portal guys. Wonder if that means some Sooners at this position may be leaving too.
  18. As soon as Riley was hired, he offered to bring the entire OU defensive staff with him to SC. Grinch immediately accepted and left with him on the plane to LA the next day. Orlando getting axed was, I guess, a formality at that point. The SC defense will have subpar coaches in the secondary (Grinch, Manning--who's the worst) and at LB (Odom--who I doubt stays in LA long). Shaun Nua, from Michigan, will be a definite upgrade at DL. He's a good recruiter and developer, and will probably do really well on the West Coast. They may still have another hire on the defensive side to make.
  19. There was some buzz about TCU and Sanders, and the Frogs should've jumped. Super high upside coach for a TCU program that wasn't a shambles. He's proven he's at least competent. Jackson St was 24-40 over their last 3 coaches (all with losing records). Deion's 13-4. Going after Sanders would be a high upside play, and a ACC (Georgia Tech?) or SEC team (Auburn?) sure do it. I think he'd be terrific at either of those places.
  20. What's special about Deion? Aren't all college football coaches snake oil salemen? I listen to OU podcasts where players hint at the same stuff this guy at Ohio State is talking about. I doubt Geogia or FSU or even UT are different.
  21. Leaders were FSU and Miami. Deion screwing FSU again?
