  1. ISU is the team that could really slice up OU's secondary. They had win expectancy edge in both their losses this year. We'll see if I'm right!
  2. One of the best this season. I think the Clones are a top 15 team.
  3. Riley tolerated the attitude, but not the turnovers. Plus, Williams' running ability covers up for the terrible run blocking. There is the armed robbery perpetrated by two RB who contributed last year and one potential contributor at WR.
  4. From this OU fan, please don't hire Mike Stoops. He's the greatest defensive mind since EVAR. He relates to players and recruits on a mystical level. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!????!!!!
  5. I would love for you to be right, of course, but this isn't my read. Each situation is a different. McClellan has been an OU lean since the Ohio St visit has faded. Even an Ohio St guy predicted OU on Sept 28. Thomas has come out of no where and would be a really good get. Seeing OU's safeties on Saturday may have convinced him he could play as a freshman (or high school senior). Kanu was predicted only by an OU moderator. The Sooner official was his first, and he's going to ND, Ohio St, Georgia, and LSU in the coming weeks. Let's see where the predictions are in a month.
  6. It's especially important that they got a highly regarded in-state DB since the loss of Josh Proctor and Dax Hill.
  7. I don't know who Feldman's referring to, but I immediately thought of Kiffin.
  8. I envision she understands the "Homer-drooling-emoji" and that's enough.
  9. Very shallow. Penn St transfer who can't throw and walkons is the extent of the depth chart. Key is whether it affects Riley's play calling. Getting an unliked personality (Rattler) out of the locker room is probably a good thing.
  10. Does anyone know what's up with Abor? OU +/- Ohio St were his primary suitors then OU ghosted him. UT was in play for a while, and now it's A&M. Is he having a terrible season, or is there off-the-field stuff?
  11. Wonder if A&M is still going to build the church for his dad. 2021 and 2022 DL classes for OU are better than any since the 2000's. Still have a chance to land either Chris McClellan or Hero Kanu.
  12. Your special run package is called "Bijan." If UT is handing the ball off to someone else, they're helping the defense.
  13. TCU's defense is terrible this year. They're particularly bad vs the run, giving up 5.8 yd/carry, 123rd in the nation. Williams may not need to pass against the Frogs.
  14. Harder to stop the counter when you have a legit run threat at QB. Plus a QB who can make reads.
  15. Receipts. Please click "Expand". Both teams showed a lot on Saturday.
  16. FEI has UT -4.5 Projected final 34-30, UT
  17. When Skyler Thompson's healthy, KState's offense is pretty good. Problem for KState is that he only plays about 4 games a year.
  18. This. Even when the OL has blocked up the opposing DL, Rattler has a tendency to bail from the pocket and self-sack or back up and throw off his back foot. At least two of his picks this year have come with relatively clean pockets and him inexplicably backing up and chucking it to waiting safeties.
  19. Hurt again. It's a loss because he's the best pass rushing DT, but there's depth in the DL for OU. The losses in the secondary will be more important.
  20. TCU's run defense is terrible. They give up among the worst in yrd/rush (120th) and rushing yds/game (122nd). UT running the ball vs OU is strength vs strength. Teams have found it easier to throw against the Sooners. Stats below. UT averages 5.9 yrds/rush (7th nationally). The Horns have played the follow defenses. Rank, yds/rush ULL 73, 4.1 Ark 42, 3.6 -- 3.4 yds/rush (Bijan 3.6) Rice 121, 5.9 TTech 66, 3.9 TCU 120, 5.9 OU gives up 2.9 yds/rush (18th nationally) OU's played the following rushing offenses. Tulane 91, 3.5 Neb 30, 5.0 -- held to 2.5 yds/rush (running backs averaged 2.5 also) WV 90, 3.5 KST 36, 4.8 -- 3.7 yrds/rush (1 sack only)
