  1. Will I get in trouble for starting a “Fire Kyle Flood” thread? Asking for a friend.
  2. Can’t imagine there’s much to say. He showed his ass on national TV. Not much drama to be had to drive clicks.
  3. We lost that game. We thought we were going to win. Seriously.
  4. I suppose you could say we thought we were going to win.
  5. This is the scary part. I was to understand this guy could coach. It was apparent that Arky was content to run the ball down our throats and we couldn’t stop them. Never adjusting to that reeks of stubborn pride or delusion. We were never going to catch up if we didn’t get stops. At a certain point you gotta stack the box and hope the secondary wins enough one on ones to get them off the field. We never tried, and instead the safeties up top got burned anyway.
  6. Card looked like ass. Casey less so. Don’t think it matters. The rest of the team is mediocre. This loss calibrates the season’s expectations, at least.
  7. Alright girls and boys, as I transition to my Ardbeg and leave coherent reality behind, I want us all to remember that our team sucks and we’ll never have anything nice. Stock up your liquor cabinets for the rest of the season, because Arky just put on tape how to fuck us in the ass.
  8. Let’s not forget that Coach O lucked into fuckface being our coach for the game against us. We beat them, maybe a different story. And we could/should have won that game.
  9. The most important takeaway? Their QB did not look like a Heisman candidate. For years now, QBs have been playing the game of their lives against us while announcers gush over them. Not a damn word about how dangerous, skilled, or amazing he was yesterday. It was a breath of fresh air.
  10. Not that I disagree with the first statement, you’re absolutely correct. But I would say Ohio State rubbing their nuts all over our face and taking a potentially generational QB out of Southlake from us in an extremely public manner while getting him paid in the exact thing that we are currently sucking at warrants at least some handwringing.
  11. This game goes one of two ways. 1. Sark unveils the most potent UT offense since the halcyon days of Colt, and PK’s defense suffocates them to the tune of 49-10 beat down that is never in doubt and would be worse except they scored a TD against our scrubs in garbage time and our offense is the 3rd string to start the 4th quarter. 2. The offense operates with hesitancy and growing pains as various flaws like crappy WR and suspect OL are exposed in the first game of the season for a RS frosh QB learning on the job. It doesn’t matter because PK’s defense suffocates them and we still waltz through with a 28-3 win and lots of tape for our offense to learn from going forward. Either way, we’re not losing this fucking game. Our defense is going to be too damn good for that to happen. Could we be disappointed in the offense? Sure, but this defense will keep us in every game on our schedule, and will flat out win most games for us.
  12. Kai Money is a nice story. I hope he makes a couple of 3rd down catches to extend drives. That being said, shut the fuck up about Kai Money. Getting back to DJ Monroe… Badass Kick Return
  13. Lots of folks surprised by this QB snap allocation news. Why? Literally the only advantage Thompson has over Card is seniority. Yeah he balled out in the bowl game, which gruntles me. It's good to know he's got it in him. Aside from that, pretty much everybody and everything says Card is the better prospect. Better mechanics, better athlete, higher ceiling, more willing to take shots, which Sark wants. Maybe the timeline is more accelerated than we anticipated, but I don't get being surprised that Card has the edge.
  14. I mean, at one point they said with a straight face that our 2017 Oline was better than 2014 Ohio State. Goodbye credibility with that one. Between that and bending over for Maryland in the first game, it’s hard to believe that I fell for their shit at the time. What can I say, I love kool-aid.
  15. Conversely, look at the things that the Herman regime said were strengths!
