  1. Had 4 inches in my rain gauge today when i dumped it at 5 pm (in Groves and can't remember if it had any in it before today) and at 7:30ish I dumped out another 1.5 inches.
  2. A nice shower in the 619.

  4. I don't believe them, but I love conspiracy theories.
  5. Man I'm glad that I'm not the only one who doesn't shit in public restrooms.
  6. I was wrong. I should've asked my dad, 30+ years owning his framing company, his opinion. He pretty much said the same thing and not to listen to what salesmen at the lumber store say. I owe you and phl some rep.
  7. I disagree. While, for example, studs today are usually a fast growth pine or fur, they're usually straighter and have far fewer knots, and add to that with better fasteners and codes, it surpasses older construction materials.
  8. It's not. Far better codes for wind storm and etc, along with more fire/rot/mold resistant materials used, make todays home more structurally sound. Not to mention more energy efficient.
  9. My dad use to put peanuts in his coke, I can still smell the burps.
  10. Thanks for the info. I noticed the janky-ness of the "spring assist" button and I asked for a refund. I'll order another 110 from Buck's website. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks for the clarification. Either way, this knife opens at the lightest bump to it. I should've ordered one through Buck's website for the return factor.
  12. Snek tasting my mom's chicken eggs. She usually relocates non venomous snek, but this one meet its maker. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  13. Maybe I should post it in the Chinese manufacturing thread, but here it is. The oval brass piece is the spring assist. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  14. My Buck 110 I ordered came in today and it's spring assisted, which wasn't in the description on Amazon. Well the damn thing is dangerous, it barely stays closed and opens if you look at it. Needless to say I'm sending it back and getting a refund. Has anyone else come across this, or did I receive a one that got pass quality control?
  15. Finished We Shall Remain and I have yet to watch a PBS documentary series that wasn't a good watch.
  16. As I said in the embarrassment thread, Xanadu sung by Olivia Newton John is my top guilty pleasure songs.
  17. I looks like it's sonny5ideup's watermark, He makes memes on Istagram.
  18. I've seen Clutch five or six times and they never disappoint.
