  1. What are supplements listed earlier in the thread? Too many pages to sift through What are supplements listed earlier in the thread? Too many pages to sift through perhaps you're looking for a memory loss supplement?
  2. if anything, i don't think it was because he was disobeying. pretty sure he wanted to meet Holly. and that's a big part of the reason her dude was shot up and killed. that was personal. he wanted to take that away from her. the scene of Holly standing behind fire and staring as if she doesn't give a fuck what happens to her cements this for me. think she said "it is time" (to meet Cuco) in that scene. someone up-thread implied that Holly was the outsider. I woudn't say she was THE outsider, but definitely an outsider. so, there could be more than one was my take away.
  3. This stood out to me the most, especially since it was coming from Naivar. “Here comes five-star Bru jumping in, so they all wanted to take a shot at him and get after him, and he didn’t back down. That was impressive for a young guy coming in as a true freshman during spring ball. So that was what most impressed me. Those guys were taking shots at him every day, just to test his worth, for lack of a better term, and he got after it and competed.” Welcome to freshmen orientation. Oh well, I guess. I doubt the Texas players treat out of state players any differently, but who knows. I can see how it could be harder to establish a friend-base coming out of state, but that's something I would expect the program would address. And if the second year players want to challenge a first year 5 star, kudos to them. That's what competition is about.
  4. Inside the Outsider eps 8-10 says Ralph and Holly had an "old fashioned romantic" quality to their relationship. Uhh... guess I didn't pick up on that. Maybe the books captured it better.
  5. i backed out a little bit a few weeks ago and may experience my first lesson on capital gains. dumb question. private account (non-401k). let's say I sell off 5 shares of CompanyA for profit, then decide to buy back (re-invest) 3 shares of CompanyA. i still have to pay capital gains on the original 5 shares, correct? trying to see if there is some type of opposite parallel to the wash rule.
  6. slight derel - if i were living in Elon Musk's simulated world, i'd be awfully upset with our creators.
  7. so, a case does not necessarily entail a diagnosis, as suggested earlier in this thread. or, we have a common misunderstanding on what a case is. this seems essential to maths. is there some nomenclature for "diagnosed cases"?
  8. why the fucking pin though 📍 ugh...

One of my favorite Roach highlights:
  10. don't fault yourself. some of them (unethical hackers) are very good at what they do. in addition to "google-ing ransomware", ensure your team is up to date with CVE and other publicly known databases that list known vulnerabilities. one of the best things you can do is protect yourself from publicly known vulnerabilities and have a patch management standard in place. patch management. patch. patch. i hear that word a lot from experienced pros. much easier to have standards, procedures, table-top exorcises, IRT, etc.... with larger corps.
  11. thanks, that's a lot more clear than the article made it. still unclear is of the 5200 cases, how many were diagnosed with Covid-19. all? i need to look up "cfr". can't make sense of this math
  12. Upon first reading, the stupid in me took over. For those stupids like me, mortality rate here includes everyone that has been tested. So, big difference between this mortality rate vs. other mortality rates that only include those infected. Very misleading unless I'm missing something.

i would have guessed he was playing in 280-290 range, closer to 290. current roster shows 290. i think he was pushing 275 the previous year when we were playing him as a DE/LB hybrid.
  14. maybe you're looking for transparency. I applaud South Korea in their efforts so far
  15. avatar (seems to) checks out swinging a golf club.
  16. good info and thank you. always important to check your sources. right or wrong.
