Not so far. Forever. He has 1 year of control. Paredes has 3 and smith and Wesneski have 6 each. We can’t fucking possibly lose that trade.
Did we win a World Series? No! All bullshit.
I like Paredes better. Tucker always irritated me. That's not sour grapes. I'm glad we traded him. I'm in love with the return. I still stan for Correa and Springer and wish Bregman all the best. Tucker- I don't check box score or think about at all except when someone puts something like this up or says something dumb like we shouldn't have traded him. Maybe if he'd have ever had a meaningful hit in an Astros uniform in all the different playoff games he got to play in I'd give half a shit. But he didn't and I don't.
Sort of. More it didn’t come in shitty. Expecting a gain of 130 and it came in at 139 so no big deal there, but stop me if you’ve heard this before- revised downward by 80 for prior months.
read an interesting article the other day by habib on why the black sucks on inflation (they are just guessing on a bunch of shit bc they are understaffed or lazy) and he’s highly pissed every month before the report comes out and essentially says watch them throw up a number too high and revise downward past months bc it’s fundamentally broken.
again, it’s fine that they are wrong but revisions should miss both ways yet it’s always overstated (like 22 out of 24) on initial reports now.
You misunderstand/ we weren’t lobbying the cfpb but rather Congress.
it’s a crazy thing that happened in maybe the first 220 years of the country but once upon a time Congress actually passed laws that most of the people liked (or at least it was expected of them) rather than shrugging their shoulders and pointing their fingers at the regulatory state. That’s allegedly what’s happening here. I will believe it when I see it I suppose.
When I was lobbying the person that was the head of our lobbying group said she was going to fill out an application and not monkey around with changing phone numbers, email addresses or opting out. She said she had 476 calls or something like that in the first week.
So, 100 is light, you've got more headed your way.
It really is the shittiest part of the entire customer experience. Sign the petition and call your congressman. Doesn't matter if it's a GOP or Dem there are tons from both sides supporting the bill.
It’s not the mortgage industry man- it’s the damn credit bureaus selling your shit.
I tried for 2 years and 10k of my own money to lobby (with hundreds of other mortgage professionals) to get this fixed for the consumer.
was just at a junket for high producers the past three days out in La and their DC geek said it should get done late this year. We shall see. There’s like 2 people that oppose the bill (we lobbied both sides and they were both on board- the reps from the district where experian and Equifax are located.
shits awful.
we do soft pulls and have our consumers opt out to avoid this shit- costs us an extra $77.50 every time we take an application. Most of that doesn’t get passed on to consumer.
I think we are doing some decent quality writing on the Astros that’s informative sometimes, fun sometimes and sometimes both.
hop y’all make it a follow and subscribe.

guest columnist. Andrew’s brother. Read it and if you like it share and subscribe. Humorous article on astros inept medical staff.
I mean- I know what I know and that is that the Astros medical staff is dogshit.
I’m starting to consider believing that Forrest Whitley might not win a cy young this year.
No. Tampa is terrible against lefties you have a tie game so you go with your 7th inning guy, and the first 4 baserunners were a ground ball to the shortstop hole, a HBP, an 85 mph ground ball for a single and an error.
Maldy threw out like 4 figs all year in his last year here while other guys were throwing people out.
gusto should be horsewhipped or perhaps drawn and quartered for walking that ass hole that can’t hit the ball hard.
I don’t understand why Whitcomb isn’t playing 2B a lot in the minors. That’s the position he’s going to have to play if he’s going to be a part of this team. He's done everything that can reasonably be expected of him in the minors. Time to graduate him I think.
