Ya, my commentary wasn't aimed at how Tom customized his guitar, it was more at the average Joe spending $1,800 on a guitar with a that symbol and that message. Kind of like a Dead head sticker on a Cadillac. Tom himself has always come off as a well intended, out spoken good guy.

There's a certain irony in asking $1,799 for a guitar that says "Arm the Homeless" on it alongside the hammer and sickle.

I like to go to record stores when I travel to other countries and ask about bands that are relavent or influential there. I've built a pretty decent section of my record collection that way. Repititor was the 1st and i was lucky to catch them live in Zagreb couple years ago. I think Goribor is also from Serbia, but this is quite a bit older. Early 90's I think. Hell of it time to be in Yugoslavia.! From Japan I got Angle Face, who i could've caught live if I had extended that trip for a 2nd time. Staying Japan with a current band and older one theme, the Mods from 1981. Rancid X was an Italian band and this record is from 1978. I really like it. I have a monthly DJ gig and I like to play some of these records that I know nobody else is playing. These are some of the tracks that people always come ask about, then their faces go blank when I tell them its foreign; especially Yugoslavian. Im on a long trip now and have a handful of records im eager to hear when I get home. Theybspund great on streaming services.
