  1. I recall playing Infamous for the first time and feeling like you do on a sudden rollercoaster descent, when you first jump off a building. That video made me a little dizzy.
  2. It was either Jaws, The Jerk or If You Don't Stop It...You'll Go Blind, not sure which I watched first but watched all three soon after getting our first VCR in like '81.
  3. Based on that video still, before watching the trailer or reading up about the basic plot, I thought Pitt might be trying to play Robert Redford.
  4. Also, that mall better be in a nearby larger city. No way a town their size had a double-decker mall. Hell, I doubt their town would have one at all.
  5. I think she was the flat chested lifeguard.
  6. You know what I meant, the series as a whole. Sure, the first movie was serious, the rest are comedies.
  7. Is there something wrong with me, when that trailer gave me a boner?
  8. I saw Get Out on HBO and thought it was really good but I also think it was overhyped. I expect similar for this one. Will see it next year, when it hits HBO. FWIW, not much of a horror fan, except when humor is involved, a la Evil Dead and even some Freddie stuff. Also like a good psychological, but realistic horror flick. Friday the 13th type stuff just bores me, other than the gratuitous boobs.
  9. None. I was too busy getting drunk, getting high or getting laid during college(wonder why I lost my scholarship). I owned an Atari 5200 as a kid, then the next system I owned was a PS1 like 10 years after college. I did play some Mike Tyson Punch-Out on a neighbor's NES, back when I spent the summers during the late years of elementary school in my dad's travel trailer(he worked in TN and during the summer, instead of him driving home for the weekend, me and my mom would spend them up there). Never played SEGA or SNES until after I finished all the rpgs on the PS1, PS2 and PS3, then went back and played all of the ones from them, on a emulator.
  10. Saw them a few years ago, opening for Def Leppard. They still have their voices and can still play their instruments at high levels. Was not a huge fan of theirs but did enjoy the show. For a 60 year old, Nancy was still good looking. She must let Ann eat all the food backstage.
  11. Pete fucked up. he ended up married to a shorter with bigger boobs version of the crazy girl from this season. See below.
  12. Good finale. Liked the whole, I am not an asshole, alright, scene. Followed by Pete's opener set, which actually bought him the respect he was looking for all along.
  13. Don't have Starz anymore(for the last 4 or 5 years), so will wait and download it when they finish it up and binge watch. I don't see how it could go more then 2 seasons, seems like they would have to stretch it out for even one season. It is not a very big book.
  14. Good to see that others have the same opinion about this season's chick and her being "hot". Unfortunately, after viewing this page, I am having to use voice recognition to type this reply.
  15. Did he hang out with Culkin pre Hine Alone or post? If it was post, maybe he was afraid to do anything with him, as he was a well known kid. So Culkin might have thought he wouldn't do what he clearly did.
  16. To follow up on my posts in this thread. My dad no longer has to worry about Alzheimer's. We lost him last night. He is no longer suffering. Hopefully he can reunite with mom and maybe go riding trails alongside the Duke(his favorite actor). He was a lot like the characters Wayne played on screen. He was rough, tough, wouldn't take shit off nobody but would give the shirt off his back to help those in need. He was never really one to show his emotions, he let his actions tell his feelings, most of those were positive. Been a rough year, as his primary caretaker, seeing a once near indestructible man, 6'4", 200 lbs, strong as an ox, mind sharp as a razor, succumb to Alzheimer's, complete kidney failure, degenerative hip disease and waste away to what he was these last few months. I hate saying it but I am glad he is gone now. Getting old sucks.
  17. The book was a fun read, hopefully the flick will be fun also.
  18. Yep, Cheers and MASH are my top two shows with comedy. Seinfeld and Veep have more laughs but they are much further from reality. Not that there are not people like those characters, just almost never that many assembled together. Cheers and MASH are far more realistic.
  19. Does that include the $5 you made off of Woolly?
  20. Most of us realistic fans knew there were holes. The OL was way over hyped(Jonah Williams was the only great one) and the defense had lost the entire secondary from the year before, not to mention several keys cogs in the front seven. If Quinnen Williams was not such a beast, it would have been even worse. I think they might be more well rounded this upcoming year. They did not need to be a stellar OL against most of the teams they played against, until they ran into the buzzsaw of Clemson. UGA and even OU tested them a little. Also, Tua was not nearly the same player he was prior to the UGA game, where he got injured on the first possession.
