  1. Not sure why that it was so surprising that Thomas was the first OL taken, NFLN. Dude was as solid as any. Wills is athletic as hell but he is good for at least 1 penalty every game.
  2. We are always grouchy bastards, quarantine just amped that up a notch.
  3. Not in my life do I try Hell House on hard. I barely survived on normal and it took like 35 minutes. My hands were killing me after that. At least, for those completionists, you do not have to replay the entire game for those missing quests, although from what I hear, you have to complete the entire chapter, as you cannot then bug out once you get what you are after in that chapter. Again, I liked the game but they really need to fix some faults for the following games, if I live that long. As mentioned above, Limit Breaks should never miss, except maybe if they brought back the reels for Tifa and later Cait Sith. Magic should also never miss unless an enemy has some kind of ability that allows it to dodge magic. Standard attacks missing, fine, if you can dodge, so can they.
  4. I just finished my first play-through. Overall, I give it about 3.5 stars out of 5. Loved the music and the way it transitions. Love the voice acting and most of the dialogue. Like the way they flesed out all our known characters from the original game, including the villains. I played the original around 10 times but never really felt the loss of Jessie, Biggs and Wedge(I guess now it turns out we only lost Jessie). I just felt bad for Barret. This time, I had to take a fe moments after each of the Biggs and Jessie scenes on the pillar. The only scenes that hit me that hard in the original was the end of the Cave of the Gi and the certain scene in the city of the Ancients. Those positives aside, the reason this does not hit 4 or 5 stars, most have been mentioned in here, fuck the hell house doible fuck the freeway mech(my only two game overs) and the dumb non-controlled party AI. Also, while I like many of the added "flavor" characters, Roche was worthless. I liked what I call the "Three Stooges" aka dumb bandits and other characters like Leslie and the Angel of the Slums(obvious as she was). All of them added flavor, Roche added not a gotdam thing. Also, the ending was a bit out there, in a game that is known for it's out there stuff. My final tally for this first go, 44 hrs, lvl 39 and my damned fingers hurt. Still, glad I played it.
  5. Thanks to COVID, FedEx was late in picking up my copy gfor shipment. I am getting it tomorrow(well today technically).
  6. Just a reminder, was looking through my DVR upcoming recordings, it is back next Wed, set yer DVR.
  7. I imagine they are going to play it like Fring got word about the banditos, sent Mike to protect the money. Makes Lalo look bad to the rest of the Salamancas because Fring is just protecting the cartels money and not getting caught up in the competition. So Lalo ends up back in Mexico and he loses a little of his clout in the process..
  8. The way I read the two factions of robots is that it is something Ford set up in their core programming. They will fight it out, with mass destruction among the humans, to try and teach humanity the folly of creating AI. It will not work, as some fucker will still want to make money off of it. Just a guess.
  9. If they did kill Badger, who would we get as the voice of Wedge in the new FF7 Remake?
  10. All 6 episodes had bright spots but only the first three and the last one were more than 50% good stuff.

  12. Yeah, I read it as he stole 24 mil worth of pieces, not pocketed 23 mil. So at best, more like 1.2 mil for himself.
  13. Hell, it only took me one marriage to come to that conclusion.
  14. It is OK and seems like it might be fine for a limited series. Although it seems pretty obvious that both JeJune and the Elsewhere people are the same people. Seems like a fun way of meeting new people and getting out of your rut.
  15. My drama top 3 are Breaking Bad, The Wire and Justified. Comedy top thee are MASH(first three seasons are the best ever put on film, any genre), Cheers and Curb.
  16. Just watched The Invention of Lying on Netflix the other night. If any of you fuckers have not seen it, worth the watch(yes, I know it is over a decade old now). Saw Dolemite is My Name last night on N, good watch, makes me remember when Eddie was still funny.
  17. Just watched Dolemite is My Name on Netflix last night. Pretty good, best thing Eddie has done in forever.
  18. Currently in the rumor mill, is that Sark has interviewed for the Colorado job and may be the front runner. In that same rumor mill, his replacement as the Bama OC, Hugh Freeze.
  19. I would slot in behind Cheers and Newhart on my favorites list. I put Alf ahead of GG, FT and Cosby. Then there are the also rans like Perfect Strangers. Leaving out Three's Company, as it was half 70's/half 80's.
  20. Part 2 was good also but yeah, seems like more than 3 episodes will be a stretch.
  21. You would think she would empathize with the title.
