  1. What did that fucker say?!?
  2. Don't really care about added bowl games. I will only watch a few, but several of those will be on a whim, so additional games means I might get to watch football on a whim... That said I would be willing to have less bowl games to expand the playoffs. I also think all teams, no matter their record, should have the option of the two weeks of post-season practice that is afforded to bowl and playoff teams. The dregs should have the chance to get a leg up on the next season by getting in some practice, if they so desire.
  3. So that must mean aggy is the in front of the scenes leader, right! #soyouretellingmetheresachance #advantageaggy
  4. Why are you posting this to the football board? They are probably going to pick up shoes or Chik-fil-a for the basketball team. If you are looking for their football coach search, I suggest checking the train schedules.
  5. No love for meat judging?
  6. That's why I said 'should'. We would hardly need rules if not for the likes of aggy.
  7. Honestly, if you play an FCS, you can't laugh at anyone else's OOC. If you play an FCS and 2 G5s OOC you should just keep your mouth shut entirely.
  8. Dear Aggieland faithful, I was in the beautiful College Station this weekend for the big SEC matchup. Being a Rebel, I understand the great importance and joy of tailgating and I would like to thank your school and her fans for easily the best road trip in my short years as a follower of SEC football. Me and my friends arrived early to set up our tailgate in your hallowed ground. I clumsily set out my stakes to mark my spot when a fine, upstanding Aggie gentleman informed me that I had erroneously staked out ground meant for other tailgaters. His courteous nature and swift bludgeoning hammer gently made clear my mistake. After several blows, I was able to correct my error and the kind gentleman and I shared several drinks in the spirit of fine Southern bonhomie. After the game, I was graciously well tended to by Kyle Field's fine medical team and never once heard any gloating or any arrogance from the fine people of THE flagship Texas university. I look forward to many return trips to the Station and her fine medical facilities. All my best to the greatest fans in the country, An Old Miss Junior
  9. That's only because if a minority student gets in over a good white student they just have a special "bonfire" on their lawn to make sure the minority student understands the importance of tradition in Aggieland.
  10. I think the idea is that AA can play special teams but isn't mentally ready to see the field at LB.
  11. I always figured Hamm's favorite playthings came through holes in bathroom stalls.
  12. From his toy choices, an ass beating may be just what he wants.
  13. I always heard that story with Ted Nugent stomping on the poop, Ozzy digging in it and finally aggy running up and eating it.
  14. What about Jimmy Stalewater?
  15. For Zach's wife, 'I don't want to lose my life' means Zach would choke a bitch. For Michelle, it means losing her husband and the money and social connections of being a coach's wife.
  16. It is odd how toothless the P5 is when it comes to their own. The Pac, Big 12, and Big 10 schools outnumber the SEC and ACC schools and yet they do nothing about scheduling that clearly limits their playoff possibilities. They could easily get the G5 to back them by all agreeing to ban FCS teams, games that would mostly go to the G5. If those three conferences wanted to level the playing field they could, just by doing that, but they could also insist on 9 conference games. Hell, I would think even ESPN would rather profit off the ability to have better content if no one in the SEC or ACC played FCS teams. The value of their ACC and SEC games (even the shitty ones that appear on the conference nets) would improve both without FCS teams and especially with both conferences playing 9 games. There must be other things going on the background that keep these sorts of practical reforms from happening.
  17. 'this' got his walking papers...only 24 more negs to send Coug/ShittySchmitty off the reservation again.
  18. Those recruiter rankings often don't really tell the true story on recruitments, so what Mehringer really brought on that front might not match up with where 247 has him. I tend to agree with your assessment, but if Herman still sees him as weak link this would be the time to pawn him off as an OC to a G5 or another Rutgers. Maybe Mehringer has learned some things and is trending up as a coach and recruiter? Does @closetojumping have a pulse on the current situation?
  19. There's a lot of Meemaw that is battered...
  20. But they beat aggy in a bowl game less than a year ago, they are known giant killers. #advantageaggy
  21. What happened with him? It seems no one is that interested anymore. I don't remember anyone saying his senior film has sucked, but I would assume that would be case unless he is on the Brooks chain gang.
  22. Everyone's getting restless in the Little Apple.
  23. Of course a big reason Louisville has more ticket sales and contributions is because they have been relevant over the past several years even going back to their final years in the AAC under Strong. If Purdue thinks Brohm is the guy, an extra $2-2.5M/yr will be earned back many times over in ticket sales and contributions. Not a risk-free endeavor, as you say, considering Purdue's lack of history and location. I agree they are unlikely to do it because I don't think their administration is the type to push the envelope on coaching salaries, but they are already paying Brohm $3.3M which is still ridiculous if you just look at what Purdue pays for important faculty and administrators, rather than the world of college football with out of control spending on coaches with short resumes.
  24. I would think this is where the Big 10's media money should be a factor. Purdue is getting something like $20M more a year than Louisville just from TV. What would it really hurt them to money whip him for 5 years?
  25. You are correct sir: Physically, a Smurf is usually no more than "three apples tall" (in human measure, probably around 3 inches) and has a pear-shaped body with an oval-shaped head, springy legs, and limber arms, with a short stubby tail sticking out from his or her buttocks. The springy legs allow a Smurf to jump to high places or across rocks and branches rather easily. It is estimated that a Smurf can run up to 10 feet per second and has a vertical leap of 4 to 12 inches.
