Burnt Ends

Everything posted by Duane Moore

  1. This morning, I am thankful for the FSU, Clemson, and Penn State programs as they are keeping us from being the biggest bust of the season.
  2. I heard a little of the post game press conference last night. Sark actually broke out the “half the teams in the SEC lost tonight” trope.
  3. It did seem like that. Surely we have hot routes built into most pass plays and Arch rarely hits them or even looks for them.
  4. Turrible, just turrible
  5. It really seemed as if, after finding a formula for winning football last week (outside zone running, quick passes, moving the chains on long drives), Sark went right back to the “big game hunter” mentality of slow developing deep shots from the very first drive. Would really like to see the average distance to target stat for this week.
  6. Any ideas on what happened to the running game this week? Wisner has his best game of the season and then we give him 14 total touches? Clark has 3 decent carries and then goes on a milk carton for the rest of the game. If you have a good defense, a plus special teams unit, and a struggling QB, leaning on a running came is a viable plan (that worked very well the previous week) and yet it just got totally ignored all night. Was the defense just showing a heavy box every play that dictated the calls?
  7. They had a nice one to Jordan Washington that went for 25 yards, but that was about it.
  8. 2010 has to be up there. We were #5 in the preseason, had a 5-star QB replacing a 3-year starter, also had a great defense, and went 5-7. I suppose that record is still on the table for this team but I think we scratch out at least 2 more wins.
  9. Auburn and Mizzou have both missed FG’s in the first OT
  10. I hate to tell you, but Kentucky is a bad defense
  11. Kentucky’s defense was 15 out of 16 in the SEC and we had 8 first downs against them.
  12. Not sure I would agree that 24 points against Auburn and Michigan is “hasn’t had any issue scoring points.” If Arkansas puts 24 up on us I’m not sure we can match that.
  13. I’ve defended him a lot this season, but he was bad tonight. He didn’t get any help, but there were more than a few open receivers he missed tonight.
  14. Yep, I was at that one
  15. Arkansas can score points. We’re in big trouble
  16. I’ll settle for Kurt Bohls’ passive aggressive needling
  17. Hey Sark - I hope you’ve heard us talking shit about your team this week
  18. This game is setting football back 100 years
  19. How how how are we so fucking stupid?????
  20. A little pride shows up by the D
  21. 171 total yards in regulation. Worst of the Sark Era.
