  1. This. I was involved in a hit and run, got the plates and had a Shagster run them. Sent the cops his address and they never did shit.
  2. The good news for the Cosmo is that the rooms are getting a refresh next year. I’ll definitely go back once they’ve completed that. I agree with you on Bellagio. Service is still good and it’s stood the test of time. For the first time this trip, I played some at the Wynn and was really impressed with the property and service. I’d like to stay there next time, but it’s hard to pass up all the free comps with MGM.
  3. Y’all think Aria is dated, check out the Cosmo. Stayed there 4 nights last week and the place is looking rough. Not only that, cleaning staff is mailing it in. Dirty sock in the sofa and peanuts all over the chairs when I checked in.
  4. I’d avoid the Barton Springs area this morning.
  5. I do! This place sounds awesome and I wasn’t invited.

Onion Creek had clay in the 90’s (won a few junior titles there), but I doubt they still have them. Barton Creek use to have grass! I miss tennis, need to get back to playing and introduce my 8 yr daughter to the sport.
  7. I’m going next week and my wife is wanting to rent a car and drive to the Grand Canyon. Anyone done that? I’m not looking to spend the night there, just see the West Canyon sky walk and drive back to the hotel.
  8. Nice little .66” summer shower out in Dripping Springs.
  9. Is Settles run-down these days? It’s probably been a decade or longer, but when I stayed there the owner had dumped a ton of money into it and it was fairly nice.
  10. Clearly, you didn’t.
  11. Settles Hotel is in Big Spring
  12. Storm radar keeps showing something blowing up out of that cell, but the weather folks aren’t saying anything about it.
  13. I see that empty Mickey’s 40 oz on the coffee table. Just crushing one with the kiddos on a Sunday morning?

I thought this happens all the time out there now? I remember being in Snyder around 2011 (please don’t ask me why) and they had one you could definitely feel.
  15. I’ve booked a terrace one bedroom suite for 3 nights at the Cosmo in March. Is it hard to get upgraded to fountain view? $50 handshake still a thing?
