  1. Twice on 71, and once on mopac south. But, yeah.
  2. Started the day yesterday in Katy. On the hotel elevator an Asian looking dude offered that he and his wife were going to see, for the first time, dolphins in the Gulf of America. Said something about wondering if they were different from dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico. I thought he was joking. In the car on the way home my wife mentioned tell tale signs the guy and his wife were ex-military, which I had missed. Three times on the way back to Austin, folks just decided to merge into my lane with my car in their way. Weird ass day.
  3. The political right is all in on there being no exceptions. Fact being the province of the left, and all.
  4. Attended a celebration of life at a bible church on Saturday. The pastor obviously did not get the Kirk memo. His sermon focused on how the dead who were favored by God spent their time in Heaven glorifying God, and, he assured us, did not bother checking in with us still on Earth. Now, I wonder how his sermon will change to include Kirk’s beyond the grave exhortations.
  5. Few folks who drag the overwhelming majority of experts deserve attention.
  6. Ever tried to drive the little red rooster home, and then, suddenly, home is gone? I don’t think so.
  7. Uninformed conjecture. Catholic priest feels a call to make a stand on behalf of immigrants. Government jack booted thugs jack boot thug while wearing sneakers.
  8. Easy to say she is merely saying what is expected from someone who professes her faith. Yes, her initial combative comments were unhinged, but under the circumstances, not dispositive. Give the woman the benefit of the doubt. True believers are our allies.
  9. I will take that bet, and no, I will not swing at the hanging curve.
  10. Careful. You’re pretty close to the sort of rhetoric which can draw unwanted attention. Rhetoric Matthew Dowd probably regrets. ”Hateful thoughts lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions,” Dowd said, adding: “You can’t stop with these sort of awful thoughts you have and then saying these awful words and then not expect awful actions to take place.”
  11. Hindsight being 20-20, and all, I’m thinking a Lincoln-esque move by Biden, to lock up these offensive political actors, not just including turnip, would have given the grand experiment at least a chance to continue.
  12. When repression is part of your kink, there is something very wrong about that.
  13. Which of you to gain me tell would risk uncertain pains of Hell I will not forgive you If you will not take the chance
  14. “Justice is reserved for the well-connected.” Yeah, no. That ain’t justice. That is far from Justice. Here’s the headline: “Justice cannot touch the well connected.” Which explains the Luigi fandom.
  15. Recognition for subjecting yourself to that. I can’t stomach folks who abase themselves.
  16. Leo can, and should already have, reassign(ed) the ultra conservative bishops in this country, and name bishops that reflect the rhetoric Leo is preaching.
  17. Wife and I were talking about the pope this morning. She was telling me that Leo has been all over this administration with his rhetoric. I said, maybe, but he hasn’t done shit. Tone.
  18. I sometimes use the word outfit as a substitute for group, business, or band. But, yeah, not for clothing.
  19. A vote for Kamala Harris was a vote to subjugate and consign young black men to imprisonment? I missed that in the party platform. I’m guessing it is a reference to her past as a prosecutor. Now do black women.
  20. Medicare administrative costs are much lower than private health care overheads.
  21. What the fuck! Obsequious, butt spreading maggat felchers eating shit, laughing at their own abasement.
  22. Yes, Kimmel is a part of this story, because of the government steamrolling any criticism of how it responded to his death. This comparison is valid because of two homeless encampments being strafed with gunfire in Minneapolis, after Kilmeade’s comments. It is a comment on news, people, and the double standard our government is observing, as well as the consequences,
  23. Well, alright. Good. Throw the book at those shitstains.
