  1. The new home of Cain & Abel's is located just two blocks west to 907 W 24th St. Fuck off, Boley.
  2. Are there still jukeboxes on the wall for what seemed like every booth?
  3. Funnily enough, chump, the dumb takes on Texags are not dissimilar to your own posts.
  4. it’s close to Mockingbird. The original Campisi’s was on Mockingbird, and was known as the Egyptian.
  5. Yeah, the average age of puberty for girls in the USA is between 8 - 13 years, dude. I know the joke, but we are fathers.
  6. 21st century hassle. In Mexico City, my wife and I were held up long enough that, in order to board our flight, we rode on a golf cart to the actual runway, as the plane waited to take off, and boarded by climbing stairs at the ass end of the jet. I would like to say we flew into Love, and went to the Egyptian for pizza, but it was a long time ago.
  7. As much as I enjoy Bloom County, and even though Breathed was a housemate of my older brother, Eyebeam was the superior accomplishment, and it isn’t close.
  8. That’s fine. I dgaf if you think I’m an asshole, but do give a fuck if I think I am being an asshole.
  9. The Hare Krishnas are the fourth largest army in the world. And they already have the airports. -Bill Hicks
  10. Is this thread unblocked?. Interesting. Curious about the reasoning behind the decision. Thanks.
  11. Didn’t see this development being discussed in other threads. UT will offer free tuition to students whose families make 100K, or less. Good for UT, good for students and families. https://www.texastribune.org/2024/11/20/ut-system-free-tuition-expansion/
  12. Being obliged to consider the musk gland befouling Utopia is neg worthy.
  13. I, for one, appreciate all those who have decried this board in the past, deigning to put their beefs aside, and post their political opinions. Truthfully, I expect those posts to dry up in the Spring of 2025, and the spite for political discussion to begin anew. @Frank Drebin, you will always be a chump.
  14. Back in college, I knew a woman who went door to door to raise money for Greenpeace. One cranky old homeowner went off on her, and used pretty demeaning invective. She turned around, walked out on to his lawn, dropped her pants, and left a crap. Say what you will, crazy isn’t dull.
  15. Also, thanks to the discussion, am suspicious of Medicare advantage.
  16. I guess this is my cue to report that whoever is dropping copies of the niv study bible on doorsteps in my neighborhood felt compelled to leave us two copies. OTOH, a half dozen google pages were all but unanimous in gushing praise for this edition.
  17. Sworn testimony? That’s equivalent to fake news in comparison to the truth a computer’s hard drive offers, once sanctified through the Stanley Cup protocol. If only the testimony was, instead, a discovery from a purloined personal diary.
  18. We're like licorice. Not everybody likes licorice, but the people who like licorice really like licorice. -Jerry (When the fat man wears red, there’s trouble ahead) Garcia
  19. For all I know, you might be right. It is interesting to note, for someone who is vocal in his hate for his country, how much trust you put in the Greek police. I am glad you know of a governmental construct you favor. I like Greek people. Maybe they have really great police. I am open to learning more.
