  1. It’s not that they show their asses, it’s that then they do so while on their knees and elbows.
  2. Don’t visit xitter or hiptok, so embeds, and the folks who sift through those xit sites, allow me to see what might be interesting to see. Interesting the only poster who advocates for blocking those type posts also shits on our system of government.
  3. Yes. It appears Daniel’s Newsroom character was crafted to reflect the actor. Respect.
  4. This guy was interviewed today. The pressure drop that was recorded, in that short time frame, used to be unheard of. Dude was thinking of what this portends for the future. Deniers. That’s what the wife thought about after hearing said interview. The COA basically bought out an entire neighborhood on Onion Creek, and there was one holdout. No reasoning with this person. It wasn’t until the inevitable came about, and the hold out had to be airlifted from the street sign they were clinging to, in the floodwaters, that their denial was breached by reality.
  5. Wouldn’t it be crazy if revolutionary batteries relied on a semiprecious gemstone?
  6. Yeah, I visit the football board, but I typically bail on any thread that goes political AND restricts my ability to return fire. Sack posts on this board occasionally, those other fools don’t.
  7. Thiel (fittingly spellcheck prefers ‘thief,’) seeks a Christian monarchy and is spending a fortune in its pursuit. These people are terrorists.
  8. He is the sole avowed trumper, of whom I am aware, on this site. I assume you saw that turnip warned Kamala voters they will get hurt, if they are known to support her. My Kamala sign going up asap.
  9. @Frank Drebin Hey Sack, you proud trumpanzee. There it is. You piece of shot.
  10. I remember when hurricanes and natural disasters were described as evidence of God’s displeasure. The only constant is the dumb.
  11. I guess “divorced from reality” doesn’t move the NYT’s needle.
  12. In contrast to other hill country Germans, in 1861 Comal County voted to secede.
  13. Those teachers are a treasure beyond measure. Godspeed, Mr Cox. The picture you posted reminds me of my first glimpse of Argyle’s Jr High, back in 1979, except there’s no cow grazing on the field.
  14. Thanks for your post. I’m not accustomed to memory glitches, and I believe I read about a ruling, in the last few years, that affirmed misinformation was protected political speech. A quick search gets bogged down with a recent decision regarding social media, so I will take your word on the subject, at least until I have the time to track down whatever it was that sourced my memory. I will keep my mouth shut on the subject until then.
  15. Fuck SCOTUS in its skunk ass for making misinformation protected political speech. Those members who supported the protection of misinformation need to be removed from the bench. Full stop.
  16. The USAFA was overrun by evangelicals many, many years ago. It was widely reported. The man I most respected in my life, (five DFCs, and he turned down his Purple Heart because he viewed his injury as a mere nuisance compared to those of his brethren,) graduated from the Naval Academy but served in the Air Force, because, as he told Eisenhower, “the runways are so much longer.”
  17. There are other lithium feldspars out there. Lepidolite is a secondary source of that metal.
  18. The barkers romancing with a junkie She’s got a flat tire
