Moody is a senior, at a position of need, who is looking to put film out there for scouts. Hell, even if he just plays special teams he'd be a huge upgrade there. I has excite.

Vince Lombardi would never sign on to coach for a chucklefuck like Cal and his dysfunctional front office.

As it fucking should. The owner is a gimbus who, inexplicably, elevated a smooth-talking pastor to lead his team's football operations. This Wormtongue-like figure then purged the roster and organization of all who were not sycophants. He then led the hiring of the one GM candidate who would not object to his presence, and then they hired a weak-ass coach who would take orders from the fucking GM during games over the headset. Cal McNair has turned the Texans into an absolute joke and he and his "brick by brick" organization deserve every bit of ridicule they receive. Janice should force Cal to step back, and failing that, force him to hire a real football person to run the team, with the first bit of business sending Easterby packing. Until that time I relish every loss, the empty stadiums, and the late-game views of the owner's box with Clueless Cal and his bored-looking wife. Fuck off with trying to give these imbeciles the benefit of the doubt. It's an absolute train wreck that a few nice draft picks and a better than expected season from Davis Mills can't put back on the rails.

Sucks for Casey. Go to OU to ride the pine, or go to NU for ... the red carpet ... no wait, the self-guided tour.

The portal combined with NIL is pouring gasoline onto an NCAA house already on fire. I don't think anyone knows where college football is headed, and we probably won't know for a few years. It reminds me of what Neo (marketable athletes) said before he hung up the phone (with the NCAA) in The Matrix. One thing does seem clear: above all else money talks. The kids want to get paid. And they're going to get paid. What I feel good about is Texas' decision to move to the SEC. Kids want to get paid, and they want to win. There is going to be one conference with the most money and the best teams. And it fucking sucks for those of us who liked college football 20 years ago with conferences and some semblance of parity. But those days are gone. There will be one super league with the best teams, and as a result the most money. Texas is joining that league and adding to the prestige. I'm glad to be along for the wild ride with you surly assholes.
