  1. Certainly run the best candidates you can. However I don’t see realistic possibilities of Democrats winning Senate seats in Texas or Georgia. force Republicans to spend resources on defense but don’t get your hopes up.
  2. Well that is certainly entertaining. Does this prevent the other/new government lawyers from joining the case?
  3. It would appear Trump and Barr are going to push this a lot farther. At this point, what is the question in front of Judge Hazel? Did Robert's decision basically say "start over"?
  4. ^^ that sounds intense. You expecting any significant changes in your electric bill based on your forecasted growing?
  5. Following in Warren’s footsteps? http:// https://apple.news/A6ssGQPjDQRSj_SCDt-MiSA
  6. People still think that Trump plays by some similar ruleset of decency. He doesn’t. He would love to be an all powerful ruler. No Congress. No Supreme Court. No Federal Reserve. Just him and his tanks and planes. That is why I was shocked upthread when DOJ announced so quickly that census was moving forward without the question. No way that Trump signed off on that DOJ decision.
  7. That’s what I am taking about. Trump isn’t going to just openly admit defeat.
  8. I assume DOJ is happy to move on at this point. Surprised Trump didn’t fight further on this just for the optics with his base.
  9. The HEB creamy Creations I have at home didn’t come with any kind of seal...plastic or otherwise.
  10. Where my Twinkie’s at ?
  11. http:// https://apple.news/ABDRvBk7SSCuHGn_7yWG43g This essentially rehashes the conversation in this thread.
  12. The following is not a defense of Schumer. Who is an alternative Minority Leader at this time? Will Schumer be ineffective as a potential Majority Leader if the Democrats retake the Senate at some point with only a slim margin?
  13. Fox News says they are not concentration camps. Ergo the statement about Pelosi is false and absurd.
  14. I am not arguing with anything you point out here. Pelosi absolutely made the correct call to pass the Senate version in front of the holiday and avoid McConnell’s potential gloating. My point is she lost well in advance when the House didn’t get their funding version passed first. McConnell outflanked her on the timeline when the Senate moved the bipartisan bill to passage. I believe I recall past times when former Speaker Ryan passed bullshit legislation in the House and then adjourned the House. Then he basically told the Senate to pass the House version or to go to Fuck themselves. Maybe that didn’t happen and my memory is poor, but it is what I recall.
  15. That is absurd. Maybe you should try updating her Wikipedia page with that phrase.
  16. Not really relevant. Pelosi was not the the primary savior of the ACA. I believe their was much circle jerking over the the late Senator McCain on that front. In this case however, Mitch lead the Senate and outmaneuvered Pelosi using timelines and Congress’ desire for vacation as opposed to solving problems.
  17. These areas of my yard are doing fairly well this year. Other areas are still struggling.
  18. What kind of lavender did you plant ? I threw 4 tiny lavender plants in the ground and they have grown well, but no blooms of any significance.
  19. ^^ because that is how the legislative process works. Making sausage is messy. Amash would never get a committee to vote on this by itself.
