  1. Huh. I learned a new word today. Minstrel. Now student government can go back to being a bunch of windbags
  2. Some rain in ‘57 but I can already tell it’s not going to last very long.
  3. If Xi follows through and the changes are substantive and timely, major win for Trump.
  4. Looking for help identifying this tree via the photos. Thoughts?
  5. Rain gauge for camp Mabry says 0.09 inches. Translated to, no rain for you.
  6. Austin may just barely catch the edge of this one storm cell. Getting a few sprinkles currently.
  7. ^^its a first grind mulch. Could have contaminants in it. But then any bagged mulch may have contaminants. It most certainly is ridiculously high in carbon to nitrogen ratio. It is good for mulching pathways or something like cardboard sheet mulching. Likely not very good for direct planting or anything near your garden. It will probably rob nitrogen from your existing soil. At $2/bag it has a place in my opinion. Just be aware of its limitations. This likely holds true for any bagged mulch from a big box store. Now buying from whittlesey, maybe a different story.
  8. Got nothing but a brief sprinkle yesterday. What a tease.
  9. Disney should silently permanently ban her from Disney cruises. This is one customer that they do not want to win back.
  10. Hopefully the restaurant is able to financially survive these asinine protests.
  11. How do these people have the time to protest such trivial matters?
  12. When do people generally transplant watermelon and cantaloupe into the ground in central Texas?
  13. Are you thinning your peach trees? I have spent the last week stripping like 75% of the fruit buds based on my internet research. Internet says peaches need to be like minimum of 6-8 inches apart to promote larger fruit growth.
  14. Based on the trailer, I am going to have to rewatch Season 1. Both for fun and to make sure I remember everything.
  15. Up 18.8% in 78757. No Bueno.
  16. I will defer to wiser people than myself, but my current operating assumption is that compost now is fine.
  17. So does Venezuela become a failed state? Does the military rule long term post a coup? With the conditions being so bad, why has action not occurred against Maduro?
  18. I-35 improvements in Texas will never be complete.
  19. Is the perception that Spec, Total Wine, and other’s have significant gross margins such that big box stores will drive prices even lower? I got the sense that Spec’s prices were already competitive. So is this just a convenience thing to buy your booze while grocery shopping? Or people really crave Kirkland brand booze? i would rather get rid of the 9pm cutoff and the Sunday noon prohibition. Those are far more inconvenient.
  20. The line is not worth it. We have done pickup for several work luncheons in the office.
