  1. User name does not check out.
  2. I really like the Godfather but some of the scenes just drag on forever.
  3. If anyone visited Rooster Andrews on Guadalupe or the one on Anderson anytime during the late 70’s to mid 80’s, you were waited on by one of a group of us degenerates who would just make up answers to any question you asked, while mocking you behind your back. We also tried to rush you out of the store so that we could continue our games of catch from one end of the store to the other. We were all a bunch of f*ck ups.
  4. Bezos does want Trump to win, I suspect. A Trump administration won’t go after Amazon for anti-trust, and he needs government contracts for Blue Penis.
  5. The main issue is rising 10 year rates, reflecting Trump’s idiotic financial and trade plans.
  6. The financial markets are now pricing in not only a Trump win but Republican’s winning both the House and Senate, according to a few financial Wall Street analysts.
  7. I understand what you’re saying and agree it’s an issue. But China has an Amazon too. They can also do these things. If you just break up U.S. dominant companies, you open the door to global competitors. That’s why they’ve been slow to act over the last many years.
  8. I’m right there with you, but there is one complicating factor. It requires a globally synced initiative with China, Europe and the US. Otherwise, for example, leaving huge monopolies in China just means China companies come to the US and dominate. Or companies play countries off against each other. I’m sure Trump will do a great job at that. Sigh.
  9. I keep seeing bad poll results and stories about Republicans being confident it’s in the bag. It’s wigging me out. On a text thread of independents/ex-republicans the question was asked how many friends this election are flipping from Republican to Harris. Every person on the thread knows a very significant number of people that fit into that category. And of course no one hardly is flipping from Biden to Trump. So that keeps me sane until Election Day. The polls have to be bs.

I thought both d8 and d9 were in a gray but legal area, hence why they are purchasable in Texas.

    High

Question for the experts. I have vestibular migraines and a study was done indicating that d9 might help. Is there a good place where you can buy in Austin in person? Or is it all mail order?
  12. This is one of the most frustrating issues about Trump supporters. Trump added massive government debt, taxed the middle class, implemented tariffs which the republican party has always been against, failed at immigration, failed at healthcare, pretty much failed at everything he tried except tax cuts for really rich people and a few other bits. Trump does nothing for the issues you care about. This is shocking to me. I always saw you as a far left person. Yup. I figured out Rush was a moron right away in the early 1090’s, but it took me a long time to pull my head out of the cult thinking. I turned fully around the time of Obama and became much more knowledgeable. Biggest change was recognizing the propaganda of the right, Fox, etc.
  13. I‘m pessimistic. Hope this is wrong. Can’t believe I’m close to Helo. That’s terrible.
  14. I’ve spent multiple posts in the past articulating why Quinn has been better than Arch and why Arch hasn’t yet demonstrated a command of the offense in a way to lead them to the playoffs. However… I’m tired of Quinn underperforming to the standard he ought to be, imo, achieving. If he doesn’t demonstrate substantially better downfield throwing, pocket movement/presence, and decision making, I’m ready to just move on to Arch and live with the growing pains. Quinn has had enough time to figure it out. Either he’s injured or not developing fast enough.
  15. Interesting that stocks that favor Trump are moving with the supposed trends towards a Trump win.
  16. Saw him pitch in the mid 1980’s in the first and only game I’ve ever seen in Dodger stadium. It was pretty sensational.
  17. Rather than argue over each given position you have, there is a bigger question imo. There are probably 50 serious, legitimate reasons why Trump should not be elected: corruption, etc. probably the most damaging reason is the fact that almost his entire administration from his Presidency have publicly stated that he is unfit for office. These are people from HIS OWN TEAM. Also the stealing of top secret documents and purposely actively trying to hide them after discovery. Given the long list of very serious issues about him, why do they not rate high enough in your mind over all of your views on issues to result in a no vote for him? How can you possibly dismiss all of that? It’s mind bottling to me. So far, you’ve ducked the questions I’ve posed.
  18. This thread moves too fast for me to know whether this has been posted already. Good news potentially: https://jasonstanford.substack.com/p/the-big-mistake-polls-are-making?r=d52ws&utm_medium=ios&triedRedirect=true
  19. Several in this thread, myself included, are not liberals. In fact historically I voted more Republican than Democrat. The issue in today’s environment is that people like you and stros have consumed so much disinformation you are completely unaware of what is factual reality and what is propaganda you’ve been fed. The answers in this thread by stros so far indicate someone disconnected from facts. And you haven’t said a word, which probably indicates you are also afraid of being exposed for your nonfactual views. This thread unfortunately is confirming what we all believed, that many/most Trump supporters are just disconnected from facts. When the level of disinformation is limited, I can understand people getting fooled. I’m sure among all of the facts about Trump, there are some things that are embellishments or not accurate. But the extent of the lying, serious crimes, and disinformation is so extreme at this point, every single American ought to be smart enough to be able to sniff out the Trump bs. The only situation where someone would struggle is if they consume propaganda and disinformation all the time: Fox News, Brietbart, Reddit/conservatives, KLBJ, etc. I assume that’s where you guys get your information.
  20. Given that Trump tried to implement a coup, has stolen mountains of top secret information to sell for personal benefit and is a traitor to the US, has sexually assaulted multiple women, and committed countless other illegal acts, it’s surprising to me that you have a warped viewpoint that he shouldn’t be arrested and tried for these crimes. Very bizarre. Do you not understand he committed many crimes?
  21. M having difficulty understanding how you don’t see Jan 6 and trying to steal the election as an extremely serious issue that absolutely demands prosecution. It’s one of the most damaging acts in recent US History. Had Pence actually tried to illegally carry out Trump’s requests it would have been a formal coup. Do you understand that?
