  1. I believe a very significant percentage of Trump supporters also believe this. As a thought experiment, I would ask you to step back and think about a “what if” scenario. I’m curious about your thoughts on it. Here is the scenario. We’ve all seen people get fooled by dishonest people. The elderly get scammed. Scientology draws people into their cult and then fleeces them of their money. Bernie Madoff steals people’s life savings. In all of these stories, the people scammed talk about how they didn’t realize that the people were lying to them and that they were dishonest. Now let’s look at Trump. Virtually every word out of his mouth is a lie. That’s been documented extensively. Also documented extensively are multiple convictions, shady dealings with Russia, self enrichment via Saudi Arabia, stealing top secret documents for presumably self enrichment, being deemed unfit for office by his entire administration, etc. Even if you don’t believe some of these facts, there is more than enough evidence out there that he’s a complete liar and grifter. The evidence is just overwhelming. So given this, how can you believe anything he says, much less that he wants to help America? Because it’s obvious to over 50% of this country that he doesn’t. How do you square your view with this? More specifically, you know he lies, so how can you trust anything a liar says? I don’t get it. You aren’t alone. Upwards of 25-30%+ of the country is right there with you (the other 20-30% knows he’s a grifter but want tax cuts or abortions bans, etc). I’m very interested in your thought process on this.

    Getting old sucks

Before you do that, promise me you will purchase this book and try it. This guy is in many ways the father of modern physical therapy. I struggled with back issues for over 25 years before finding this. Miracle.
  3. Every few weeks I get this urge to understand how the heck anyone could vote for Trump. I then initiate a conversation with someone and within five minutes I realize it’s a complete waste of my time because the Trump supporter is so uninformed about reality and facts that it’s an impossible discussion to have. There have been a few people who’ve said they don’t care about anything Trump says at all, they just want a Republican to win to either keep their taxes low, or to push Christian religion anywhere and everywhere they can. Such fine Americans.
  4. Drove to the voting place and promptly turned around and left. Will try again later this week.
  5. I’m a bit skeptical as well. I went ahead and built my bond ladder when rates were at 5%. However, the budget deficits are so bad, no one really knows where this is headed over the next 24 months.
  6. Texas 21 Vanderbilt 14 Texas passing yards - 237.
  7. Jaws when I was 11. Led to pretty much a lifelong fear of the ocean.
  8. A long time bond investor for two years has been telling me the 10 year will top out around 5.5-6%. When it hit 5% he said it was fine to load up on some bonds, but cautioned that government borrowing would eventually require 5.5% or higher. We should know in six months whether he’s right. Either the whole economy will break before then, or government budget deficit talks will produce a message.
  9. In this Adderall soaked society nothing Texas fans did will be remembered or matter in a week. We all have the attention span of a shroom toting hippie at the Joshua Tree.
  10. So I assume there is something seriously wrong with the J. Cook situation. Didn’t make a catch again. Very disappointing.
  11. Recruits realize that in a good not perfect season with one or a few losses, it means there may still be early playing time potential. One game or few should not sway a recruit’s mind. Florida State’s implosion should cause a recruit to think twice.
  12. I do wonder whether Quinn is more injured than they’ve disclosed, much like last year. His tentative movements and lack of accuracy downfield could indicate he’s still hurt. But regardless, even a healthy Quinn has issues.
  13. Arch didn’t look good tonight. He will and can in the future. Is that future next week? Idk.
  14. I’ve been a Quinn defender for a long time. He is able to make throws and reads that most other qb’s can’t make. You see how we are even worse with Arch in the game because of his inexperience. However, there is something fundamentally missing with the guy. His lack of pocket presence, pocket awareness, escapability, and inability to find and hit receivers down field makes him a liability. I really don’t know where you go from here with him. And I don’t know where this team goes. It goes nowhere in the playoffs imo.
  15. OU defense is pretty good. Someone last week tried to use total yardage rankings to argue their defense is average/bad. That was a lazy take. It isn’t average/bad. It’s decently good.
  16. What was your plan B? That’s what I always struggle with.
  17. Just to be clear, that was no “coin flip”.
  18. Damn that story about Banks mom is sad. Only a chance conversation led to a correct diagnosis.
  19. That’s a damn good tip.
  20. These rubes are amazingly jealous and insecure.
  21. I don’t think any of you understand how deep my hatred for Trump goes. Have I listened to him in the last six months? No. No I have not. Every time he is on tv, or I see a social media post where he is speaking, I do everything in my power to click away as soon as possible. I do not want to waste one brain cell on anything that moron has to say. He is a worthless human being. Everyone knows he says crazy things and is a terrible person. Having not watched him in six months, I wasn’t sure whether the reports of his mental decline were just political maneuvering or actual serious issues. I haven’t seen news outlets like ABC pick up the stories. That’s all I was asking. Relax.
  22. How real are all these stories about Trump’s mental faculties? Propaganda, or is there something to it? I’m starting to get worried that this situation is starting to look like 2016. Trump somehow pulls a tiny electoral majority. I don’t think I can handle that if it happens.
