  1. Laughing and crying. I haven't had the same attitude since I had my run in with the widowmaker. Every day on the right side of the dirt feels like a bonus. I still have to fight off the sad, but it's days like today that make me glad to still be here. From the man that taught me the term, "grippy sock jail".
  2. I took that trip too. It's amazing up there.
  3. We only get that many reactions and I'm not going to agree to lose Homer. The heart button will have to do as an "I care about you and your situation buddy.". @Baboontyme just because other folks are going through some shit too doesn't diminish what you're dealing with. Hang in there and cry if you have to, hug her if you need to and maybe you'll get to help with the neighbor's stuff too. That's part of the gig as a survivor. I wonder if we get some crossover in the @Clintonaldo religion thread. I know some of y'all have commented over there and I expect some lurkers are reading both. All y'all hang in there and keep going. I'm pulling for you.
  4. Holy fuck I can't even imagine and don't want to either
  5. I've already fried enough synapses and my liver couldn't take it.
  6. I shut off the radio before Jerry started tossing his word salad. I absolutely refuse to give him any time spent listening. If they ran a chyron counter programming his lies and bullshit I might be able to suffer through it, but outside of Grok or some AI fast research they are so plentiful and so outrageous that humans have a hard time keeping up.
  7. Well, that's a fast turnaround. Scooter is on the clock
  8. I watched some of the Livestream. Scooter was going through it.
  9. Arch better stay the hell away from here. Don't be no fool, stay in school.
  10. That's why I have mixed feelings about Longhorns that get drafted here.
  11. You can try Atrazine on the Centipede and StA. I would try a test area with that one first. It's also pretty good for pre. But, it's hot. Go gently with that one and make sure the turf is as fat and happy with water as you can get it. Atrazine is good in early spring and not nearly as risky. You can use it on bermudagrass, but it's got to be completely dormant. Check the label for the zoysia. I haven't used it in either dormant season or active. Atrazine is a stronger cousin of Princep/Simazine. It's also kinda mobile. Try to keep it away from shallow rooted trees and shrubs. Simazine has the same warning but I just haven't seen any negative reactions especially in the heavy assed black gumbo clay.
  12. I've seen isoxaben cited a couple of times. It's pricey but it's good for beds. Works on several tough broad-leaved weeds. "Chamberbitter does not respond well to some preemergence herbicides, but isoxaben is recommended in some publications. After hand weeding or killing with glyphosate, apply a product containing isoxaben (such as Green Light Portrait Broadleaf Weed Preventer) following label directions. But proper mulching in concert will do a great job suppressing weed seeds." https://www.lsuagcenter.com/profiles/lblack/articles/page1529686220899
  13. Chamber Bitter is correct. One question, did you use a surfactant? The ones with a waxy surface like that need something to make them stick or it's going to bead up and roll right off. It's Euphorbia Fam, but no latex sap. From Clem On tall fescue, bermudagrass, and zoysiagrass lawns, repeat applications of three-way herbicides that contain 2,4-D, mecoprop (MCPP), and dicamba can be used to control chamberbitter. Apply these herbicides in late spring or early summer when the weeds are still young and space second application at 30 days later. These three-way herbicides may also be used on centipedegrass and St. Augustinegrass lawns at reduced rates and after the grasses have completely greened-up in the spring. Read the product labels for rates to mix and apply. See Table 1 for examples of products. For more information refer to HGIC 2310, Managing Weeds in Warm-Season Lawns. Celsius WG Herbicide, which contains thiencarbazone, iodosulfuron, and dicamba, will control chamberbitter, especially if applied when the average daily temperatures are over 60° F. Apply when chamberbitter is actively growing and again 2 to 4 weeks later, if needed. The addition of a non-ionic surfactant, such as Southern Ag Surfactant for Herbicides, will increase control. https://hgic.clemson.edu/factsheet/chamberbitter/

  15. I might actually want to read this one. https://www.cambridge.org/core/journals/church-history/article/baptist-identity-and-elusive-interracialism-in-the-segregated-south-d-v-jemison-e-p-alldredge-and-the-work-of-a-black-baptist-seminary/A3FF62907A276EE4B5BADCCE4A420F01
