  1. HammLite with a pretty hilarious update on Isaiah Sategna - given that he's clearly looking around, based on the recent Texas and LSU updates. LSU was just too late with their offer (despite BOTH parents being LSU grads?) and the USC visit is no big deal.
  2. Luther Burden flip to Bama seems much more likely on the tails of this.
  3. Luther Burden blip to Bama in 3,2,1 ...
  4. it sounds like Hendrix and his teaammate Houston Thomas were both recruited by OL coach Lee Grimes (redass aggy) who may well have told them that he won't be retained by the new staff at Kansas. https://247sports.com/Player/Houston-Thomas-46098322/
  5. He's from College Station. It's probably hard as fuck to grow up in that think tank and have logic on your side.
  6. Braedyn Locke to MSU/The Pirate. I thought he'd have been a really good #2 QB (though we don't need a 2nd in this class) https://247sports.com/player/braedyn-locke-46093750/
  7. hey @Pdawg88 if you end up at any of the other 7v7 events with your son and see any of the other guys feel free to share your thoughts. it's always good to hear from people that have seen these kids in person.
  8. JUCO CB Jadarrius Perkins commited to Mizzou - is already back in the portal after the spring. https://247sports.com/player/jadarrius-perkins-46056963/
  9. I'm not hyping anyone up. I am simply stating that the young LB group is talented and that a good position coach could in fact create a quality 2 deep out of that group. You disagree but are too cowardly to point out which of those players are shitty. You simply throw a blanket over them all ("We lack depth/long term depth at that position", right? I guess maybe you think all of them suck, but I don't know because you are too much of a coward to call them out.
  10. What does the staff putting the full court press have to do with anything? I hope they are because he's a fucking ubertalented athlete and has ties to both a current commit (Ross) and a hopeful future commit (Harris). You think he's going to be one of the 4 players on the 2-deep in 2022?
  11. So you think he will provide depth in 2021? A guy that hasn't played the position and is transitioning from WR in high school. To me it sounds like they see a fucking ubertalented athlete and want to add him to the roster as a development prospect. You know, the kind of thing you do when you have depth.
  12. Looks like the fucking Dirt Burglars are going to put together a pretty damn good D class in 2022.
  13. You are short-changing Ford and overselling Gaoteote, I assume mostly based on their recruit rankings. I wouldn't count on Gaoteote for shit. He's oft-injured and now on the multiple concussion path. If he gives you something - great, it's found money - but I would use a very light pencil when putting his name on any depth chart at any spot. I wouldn't be willing to give up any of our young guys to the portal to rent him for a year. It would be especially aggravating to do it only to have him concuss himself into Bolivian during the Arkansas game. To be fair, several of those teams run out of a base 3-4. So Bama and UGA having more LBs than Texas and aggy, both in variations of a 2 LB base set, makes sense.
  14. yeah - he plays on that Sooner7 team. He's at Owasso with McClellan now but was at BookerT in Tulsa.
  15. did you get to see Korbyn Green as well? and if so, what did you think? I've heard that there are several teams starting to turn up the heat on him, teams that have really good eval staffs.
