  1. Because Leal is a shitty fuckface. He may not be the intensely public moron that Leon is but Leal is very much bitchmade.
  2. time to hit all the aggy boards :: https://i.imgur.com/UvQkEpW.gif
  3. He flipped from aggy to Liberty in mid-December and went from "WATCH. THIS. TAPE." to "being processed" so that aggy could make numbers once Tunimese had nowhere else to go and they could make room for Jahmir Johnson. I think Vaka was also in that group that got processed and I don't think that dude has signed anywhere.
  4. Pursuit of Ridgeway from the portal is one thing but if Texas actively pursues Evans as well (esp with numbers being VERY tight) I think you can assume attrition in some form for sure.
  5. Yeah, that was the next season's spare at LB. Kaci Seegars - he's at Liberty. SCREAMING TAKE. WATCH. THIS. TAPE.
  6. Wykoff is playing C? Kinda surprising but that would improve their lack of athleticism in the middle for sure. Henson is pissing me off by being competent and decubing them so that even if he moves on the next OL coach could have success as well. Stowers. Calzada. Stowers. Calzada. Calzada. Calzada (oof). the throw at 10:25 is an abomination but I don't think that guy is even listed on the spring roster. tbh, Stowers has improved on that intermediate stuff. He already looks much better with some coaching. I still think he was a really odd choice and continues the trend of Jimbo taking a DT and hating the DT for being a DT, but here we are. Calzada is a fucking mess. jesus.
  7. With the timing I think it's pretty clear that Saint Riley was doing some tampering recruiting that led to Woods portal.
  8. I'd only give partial credit though. I mean, the attrition from the 2018 class has driven OU to need guys to go directly on to the 2-deep so it's a bit of necessity to go to the portal and it's a gamble because that small 2021 class is going to have to have a really high hit-rate for those 2023-2025 seasons and there are several guys that are projects in that class. There's already been some attrition from that 2020 class and while it's early if it ends up like the 2018 class they are going to have to tap dance between recruiting numbers and transfers over and over and the previous guys that came from the portal and JUCO have had a really low hit rate. (not discussing the QBs) Perrion Winfrey has been really good. Chris Murray was meh-ish once he got his eligibility. Ellison is a warm body, barely. Howard, Grant, Obialo, Harrington. All taking up spots and delivering nothing. Wanya Morris might have been a 5* at one point but he was not good when I saw him and a quick search shows that his PFF grade at the midway point of last season was a 52.3 Lawrence barely played on a team that was wet garbage and had pretty terrible S play. Granted, all he has to do is be better than Pat Fields which is a fucking LOW bar. Gray is going to be really good but I wouldn't have traded Gray for Sermon and Pledger given the option.
  9. you should post this every time EJ comes up because it makes me laugh every fucking time. Every aspect of it is chefskiss.
  10. My gut says that it happened pretty quickly after OU got into deep shit with their WR depth ...
  11. I know everyone wants only the KoolAid so I probably shouldn't comment but an anecdotal story about Ash not wanting filming going on during pre-game being compared to a closed-to-the-public spring practice is absolute nonsense. Ash is a meat head but I am also 100% on board with pregame being about getting your mind fucking right and that absolutely includes eliminating distractions.
  12. Ohhh, I didn't see that. Smart move for sure.
  13. For schools that aren't blue bloods or in talent-rich areas - this should absolutely be modus operandi. Klieman is everything people try to wishcast Matt Campbell to be, imho. KState should do something to lock his ass up long-term and/or add some massive buyout numbers.
  14. I'd bet all the money in ctj's numerous bank accounts that she was NOT the first woman Mixon has ever hit and it likely started with family members, statistically speaking. Any man that strikes a woman like that - in public - has likely done it in the privacy of his own home NUMEROUS times. You ascribed a lot of weight on the premeditation AND the known previous bad behaviors of the other two knuckleheads and I understand the reasoning but the reality of violence against women is that it is statistically EXCEEDINGLY likely that it's a pattern and not a one-off event. they are all shitbags but violence against a woman and violence against a drug dealer (even premeditated) isn't comparable and certainly doesn't speak to a higher degree of possible reform, imho. Sometimes you end up with a bad crowd and do stupid shit -- like rob a drug dealer -- and I think that kind of behavior can be reformed. If you hit a woman - you are likely to do it again. and again. and again. You are also way more likely to hit/abuse children as well.
  15. This is so fucking stupid that I can't stand it. Motherfucker, he is a 2023 WR that has had p5 offers since Sept of last year. Hell, he had 9 P5 offers before tOSU. How is that under the radar? No, it's not.
  16. 911 call released. I don't think that anyone is coming back from this one but only because they aren't as good as Joe Mixon. https://tulsaworld.com/sports/college/ou/listen-now-the-911-call-from-an-incident-that-may-involve-ou-student-athletes-in/article_da95df5a-a09a-11eb-a5bc-b7584fb0bf35.html
  17. was just coming to post that. Do. Want.
